Just follow the sun until the shadows fade 'cross the desert 'til we find our place
think of where you're going not where you've come from
just lift your eyes and follow the sun

BIALA - 18:00
Artemis weaved her long fingernails through her perfect, golden hair as she sighed, letting the stress of the mission out from her lungs. The day was old, and the sun was beginning to set. She groaned into her hands, rubbing them across her face; a sure gesture that she was exhausted, almost too tired to function. She ten leaned back on her hands as they weaved through the beige, warm sand, letting the grains fall between her fingers as she sunk them deeper into the ground.
Robin slammed his butt down beside her, breathing heavily. He gave her a smirk, to which she had no real reply. She just shrugged.
They discuss the mission for a while as the sun goes down; they talk about their various tactics of taking Queen Bee's goons down and how they can improve. Constantly the words "Batman says" or "Green Arrow suggests" come up in their conversation as they debate on what the failures and the successes of the operation were. It's a nice talk between the two of them while the others are away at their temporary, underground, Bialan base. A relaxing one.
Robin becomes bored after a while and releases his energy out in a chuckle. "Can I say something kinda stupid?" He asks Artemis.
She whips her head around and tells him that it's fine. "I've always wondered what it would be like to have KF's powers." Robin says, slightly embarrassed at this sentiment. Artemis smiled slightly as Robin continued to speak. "I mean, he could run forever into the sunset if he wanted to."
He clears his throat. "Okay, not really. He has his limitations, but I think you get my point." He shoots Artemis his signature smile. The one that will cause the best of women to fall one day.
"There's no reason why we can't do that now." Artemis suggests on a whim as she looks out to the orange sky. "We could do that right now."
Robin looks at her, confused at first. After a minute, his gloved hand laced with hers. "Then let's do it."
They stand up and look at each other before lifting their feet and letting the sand glide behind them. They just run.
Following the guidance of the sun.
