I know this is going to sound like a line out of those inane books I write, but it's true: The one thing I truly enjoy in my daily routine is watching Shuichi sleep.

Of course, it's always nice when he's not badgering me about going out or smoking or drinking or not loving him. And I'll never tell him how empty the apartment feels when he's working. He just always looks so peaceful when he sleeps, as if there aren't paparazzi and reporters and fans and K after us, that the world is perfectly at peace.

He also looks so... innocent. He's been like that since I first met him, and no amount of sex has erased that aura. Although I know better now, it still catches me off-guard when he jumps me; he calls me the horny one, when it's uhim/u that initiates sex more and more.

It's getting harder, too, to keep him at arm's length, especially during sex. He's just so beautiful, his bright pink hair feathered onto his pillow, his amethyst eyes near black with lust and shining with love, that voice that makes the fangirls scream panting my name.

It's enough to undo a man.

... I almost told him tonight, those three little words that I litter throughout my writings. And they're true; I just can't say them as easily as he can.

That's another thing I like about Shuichi when he's sleeping--I can tell him how much I love him, over and over until I'm either too tired or can't speak anymore.

Maybe one day, I'll be able to tell him when he's awake.
