Sormin and Gordon were walking down the sidewalk on their way home from school.
"Hey look, a lucky penny!"
Sormin reached down to pick up a greened penny on the sidewalk.
"Cool, I wish it were cleaner though." Gordon said to Sormin. Then looked at his watch. When he looked up, Sormin was being run over with a street cleaning truck. The penny was shiny as new.
"Maybe that was an UNlucky penny, am I right Sormin?"
Sormin glared at Gordon from his hospital bed.
"You know sometimes I wish we were immortal, then I would'nt have to deal with this stupid arm cast." Sormin said
A man immidiately rushed into the hospital room with cloraphorm and two rags and knocked Gordon and Sormin out. When they woke up thy were in a lab. It smelled of motor oil and there was a one way mirror on the wall. They were restrained by plastic bonds. A P.A. announcement bell rang.
"Welcome to the Replacement Robotic Experimentation Laboratory! Where we replace YOUR body with an immortal robot body for FREE!"
Somin gave gordon a dirty look, There were machines hanging above them, glaring at them.
"You need to stop wishing on things, you're gonna get us killed!"
But Gordon wasn't listening. The machine had enveloped him and was advancing on Sormin. Sormin started to squirm and noticed that they had not retrained his casted arm. He swung his arm over and used his cast to smash the flimsy plastic constraint. He squirmed out from his leg restraints and rushed over to Gordon, but he was too late, the machine had already left Gordon, leaving a robot in his place. Gordon lifted himself up.
"Ugh, all I remember is being on a table, and there was a machine, and, hey, why do my shoes look different?"
"There's no time for that! Come on!"
Sormin grabbed Gordon and ran out of the lab.
"I wish none of this even happened!" Sormin screamed as he got into an elevator and smashed the lobby botton.
Sormin and Gordon were walking down the sidewalk on their way home from school.
"Hey look, a lucky penny!"
The end.
