Figures in the Night Part4
After a while Daisy gets frustrated with David pleading not guilty so she gives up on him.
It had to be him! She thinks. Who else could it be?
Daisy can't think throughout the rest of the day. Is someone purposely trying to get me in trouble?
Classes go by and dinner comes quick.
"So, wanna meet tonight?" Shelby asks Scott.
"Uh, yeah," He looks at her. "I'll come by your dorm. Be outside at 11:30 when the last light goes out."
"I'll be there." Shelby tells him eating a piece of bacon. "Want the rest?" She asks referring to her food. "I'm full."
"Sure," Scott says taking it. "I'd take anything from you." He smirks.
Shelby smiles. Ain't he the greatest? She thinks to herself.
Daisy walks over. "Sorry to interrupt this little Romeo and Juliet episode, Shelby, but I need to talk to you."
Daisy looks at Scott.
"I can take a hint." He says and moves to another table.
"Ok, we're alone, what's up?" Shelby's a bit curious.
"Either David is lying or you like playing sick jokes." Daisy says not knowing how mad she sounds.
"Me?" She questions.
"No, the person sitting across the room!"
"Daisy! What is up with you?" Shelby is hurt.
"Ok, sorry. Look, you need to tell me if you put that note on my bed last night."
What note-Daisy I didn't. What happened?" Shelby doesn't like being accused but decides to take it calmly.
"David." Daisy mutters. "I knew it."
Shelby stares at her puzzled.
"Never mind." She decides to drop it.

"I call group!" David yells to everyone.
"And what would you reason be?" Peter asks.
"Daisy's being mean." He says letting his lip curl out.
"Oh, please, go back to Kindergarten." Shelby sighs.
"Shelby's making fun of me!" David pouts.
Peter gives him a look. He turns back to Daisy.
"Daisy?"
"Can I talk to him alone?"
"Sure." Peter says walking out. "Come on guys!"
The rest of the Cliffhangers groan, wanting to hear.
"Daisy, you're not yourself. What's wrong?" David is worried.
"You lied to me."
"No, Daze, I told you, I wasn't there." He defends himself.
Daisy looks away from his face.
"Fine." He walks out.

Shelby waits by the window of her dorm waiting impatiently for Scott to come. She is so filled with joy that she could just burst with utter happiness!
Shelby hears a noise. It almost sounds like the wind whipping through the trees, but it's not. It was too strong a noise to be the wind. Besides, it wasn't windy.
"Scott?"
The noise continues, it sounds like someone is walking.
"Scott?" She asks hoping he won't jump out and scare her.
"Oh," She lets out a sigh of relief when she sees Scott coming.
Shelby gets excited that he's here. She flashes him a sexy smile.
"You're late! I couldn't bare another minute without you!" She yells at him punching his shoulder lightly.
"Sorry, Auggie wouldn't go to sleep." He explains.
He embraces her in a hug and starts to kiss her. They hear a noise in the woods.
"Daisy? Is that you?" a voice asks.
