His fellow teammates had turned against him on this one decision and before he knew it, he was running from them. They had his best interests at heart, he knew this, but did they have to hunt him like this? It was his one childhood fear.
Becker turned and ran faster and faster down the corridor, alarms wailing and lights flashing. Jess's voice rang over the loud speaking; saying where he was so people could come and get him. Becker shoved doors open, jumping through them, trying to get away. He never understood what was so big and important, couldn't they let it slip? Forget about it? Miss it out? No is what they have said repeatedly. Becker opened another door and ran, forgetting to close the last three doors he had gone through.
Becker turned his head to take just a quick glance back. He saw Abby and Matt run round the corner and chase after him. They ran through the doors that he had left open. Becker cursed, wishing he'd closed them. He knew that that was going to cost him. Leaving the doors shut would have meant that Matt and Abby would have spent at least 6 – 10 seconds opening the doors, which could have meant that he could have gotten further away. Becker looked forward and ran faster, picking up a very fast speed.
Becker turned the corner and ran faster. He saw up ahead that Jess had an idea of ceiling him into one section of the ARC by bring a metal shutter down. Yah, Becker wasn't so good at being sectioned. Becker started to pick up speed. Just as the shutter was about to touch the floor, Becker skidded underneath it, jumping to his feet straight away on the other side. Becker ran down the corridor and turned right...
SMACK!
Becker flew backwards onto the floor. He looked up, vision slight dizzy, to see Conner Temple standing there, holding a metal try. Deriving a conclusion, Becker worked out that Temple had just hit him round the face. Becker tried to slowly get to his feet to start running again, when he felt himself being pushed flat against the floor by Matt and Abby. He struggled to get back up and Conner even tried to hold Becker down. Man, they were luck that Becker was having a bit of a concussion from when Temple smacked him round the face; he must have being going at about forty miles an hour or something stupid like that one to get hit in the face. However, all the same, Becker fought against them.
"Stay still Becker, you're really making a big fuss over nothing." Abby said, pulling something out of a bag.
"I don't want an injection!" Becker screamed over the wailing alarms and flashing lights, like a child.
