DRT:I don't own Harry Potter except for my copies of the books and dvds and this piece you are about to read. I'm easing back into writing fanfiction with this piece, that's why its probably nothing special. Read and review but no flames please.

Life isn't fair. It's just fairer than death, that's all.

William Goldman, "The Princess Bride"

Life isn't fair. He certainly knew that all too well, unfortunately; just one misfortune after misfortune. Another thing he knew well is that fate's a bitch. Yes, he definitely knew t

hat well, knew it better than most. However, something that he doesn't know is what to do with himself now he's completed that which ruled his entire life, the total destruction of

Lord Voldemort, Tom Riddle, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, You-Know-Who or whatever one felt like calling the one who wanted to rid the magical world of all that is not

pure of blood, which is ironic seeing as he wasn't pure of blood either. Ever since he entered the Wizarding World, Voldemort was alive and kicking, not so much alive per se

but rather, existing. Now that he was gone for good, what was he supposed to do with himself. Well, there is the option on focusing his attention to his schoolwork in order to

graduate, a milestone he didn't think he'd live to see mind you; but what of his life after Hogwarts? He wasn't sure he would want to spend the rest of his life fighting dark witches

and wizards.

He was brought out of his thoughts by people calling his name. He turned around and saw a large group of people headed his way. He smiled. He would figure out his future

tomorrow. Right now, all he wanted to do was spend time with those that mattered most. Besides, he wasn't going anywhere, no after everything he's been though and done. If

he can survive fighting a dark lord, he could survive just about anything.

DRT: Well, I am back and am planning on writing many pieces mostly focused in the Harry Potter realm. I know I've been gone for a long time at least in terms of actually writing things but now I'm going to take another whack at it and hopefully don't burn out again.
