A/N: This is just something I thought of when I started watching The New Normal. Also, if you didn't know Chris Colfer wrote a book
He asked it, Kurt finally asked the question Blaine has been dreading. Kurt wanted to meet his parents. Blaine couldn't even call them his parents yet, Blaine hasn't even taken the last name. Blaine still puts 'Blaine Warbler' on his tests since he doesn't know what to say anymore. He was just recently adopted by Bryan and David Collins and he was happy there, he really was, but it was awkward. If it wasn't for David running into Blaine and Mr. Anderson at work Blaine probably wouldn't be alive. Kurt didn't even know he was adopted.
"I don't know Kurt." Blaine replied as he put some book into his bag. Bryan was meeting him outside to pick him up. "Home life is really weird right now."
Kurt felt a small frown pull at his lips, "Do tell." he said. "You know…if you want."
"You know how my father isn't the nicest man?" Blaine started and he threw his backpack over his shoulder. Kurt nodded, he knew all about Blaine's unhappy home life. Ever since his mother left Blaine's dad was abusive and Blaine was never good enough in Mr. Anderson's eyes. "Well, I'm free of him. I was at the hospital with Dad and we bumped into this man. His name was David Collins and he noticed how beat up I was. Let's just say he was the perfect candidate of What Would You Do because he called someone. He didn't just pass by me and ignore it, he actually stepped forward. Then two weeks ago child services came and I was taken away from Dad, thank God. Then because David is totally awesome he convinced his husband to take me in." Blaine shook his head. "Sorry, that was a lot to throw at you."
Kurt took Blaine's hand as they walked, "Are you happy at least?" Kurt asked, he cared deeply for Blaine. As long as Blaine was happy that is all he cared about. He was confused by the fact that Blaine hid this life changing event from him.
"Yes, life with them is way better." Blaine replied and they walked outside. He saw Bryan's car but turned his attention back to Kurt. Bryan watched Blaine from the car and attempted to hide it through his magazine.
"Then why did you hide it?" Kurt asked.
"I don't know…" Blaine shrugged. "I didn't want to drag you into the mess which is my life."
"Oh honey, that's why I'm here. I love you and no matter what life throws at you I will be there for you." Kurt said and he kissed Blaine. "You're my forever and always."
Blaine smiled and kissed Kurt, "I love you too. I'll call you later, Bryan will get impatient." He chuckled; Kurt nodded and walked to his car. Blaine walked over to Bryan's car and got into the passenger seat.
"I see you have a boyfriend." Bryan grinned as he started car. He liked seeing Blaine happy, it was a change for the young man.
"Yup, I'm gay as the fourth of the July." Blaine said and Bryan laughed. It was easier than Blaine thought. He killed two birds with one stone. He told the love of his life about his family issues and came out to part of his new family. Blaine smiled and changed the radio station to Broadway Classics.
