A/N: Just an idea during the end credit scene. Spoilers for those who didn't stay till the very end or those living outside the US. Reviews are always appreciated.

After all that, the world was safe, the aliens gone and Loki swiftly deposited into whatever immaculate holding cell S.H.I.E.L.D. had created until a way was built to get him, Thor and the Tesseract safely back to Asgard the realization of what they had accomplished (along with the full weight of the toll it took on their bodies) occurred to them and Tony knew just how to celebrate. "Let's get some shawarmas."

And so that's where the six found themselves all sitting around a table, eating meat stuffed pitas while the workers cleaned up behind them. It hadn't taken any convincing to serve them after the store's impromptu closing for the day; who would say no to the people who had just saved all of New York City? Their meal was eaten in silence, what could be said? What needed to be said? Captain America sat at one end of the table his head propped by a red clad fist. He was tired, the beat downs he had both given and received were starting to catch up as the adrenaline wore off. He was fortunate for the super soldier serum for without it the extent of what he felt would be much worse. The thought of this made Steve shift his eyes to who was sitting on his left, the two only "non-powered" members of their little team. Natasha and, what did she call him...Barton..? Steve could account for some of the whereabouts of Natasha during the fight but the last he saw Barton was after his orders were given out, until the end that is. There was no knowing the range of Barton's injuries, however it didn't look as he had any major ones by the way he leaned back in his chair, left leg casually resting on Natasha's seat still leaving enough room for her to comfortably sit. Natasha wasn't someone who wore her heart on her sleeve but Steve felt the concern she had while searching for her partner. Maybe there was more to them, Steve couldn't tell.

He flicked his gaze to the person across from Natasha. Whether a god or not Thor was a formidable ally, not to mention a big eater, he was currently working on his third. To the left of Thor was Stark sitting back in his seat with a slightly spaced out look on his face. Probably debating whether it was a good idea to get the spiciest thing on the menu. And at the other end of the table was Banner, wearing a new set of clothes. Steve noticed the start of silent laughing by Banner evident by the way his body slightly swayed and the smile on his face. Steve couldn't help but give a small smile too. "Maybe he realized how absurd this moment is too," he thought. Six heroes eating shawarmas as the world got back to its feet. The thought made Steve smile just a little more.

"So…" Barton said breaking the silence since they sat down "What now?"
