Well, I started writing this like, 3 months ago and completely forgot about it! I was going through my emails and saw my favorite author, Anya365, commented on one of my stories and inspired me to finish this up and post it ASAP!=]
A Week In The Life
Sunday
"Do I have to go?" Mose begged. "Yes" her mother answered agitated. "Is Fred gonna be there?" she asked. "Yes" her mother answered in the same tone. "WHYYYYY?!" "What's wrong with Fred anyway?" "I can't explain it". The real reason she didn't like him is because Fred liked her… a lot. You think your mom's friend's son would be nice. He was 2 years older than her, what interest did he have in her 14 year old mouth? Well, Fred was a little too nice! At least Ned would be there so she could have someone to talk to. She didn't even care if her best friend was going! Fred was not one to take no for an answer! She remembered the first time she Fred showed how much he liked her, when she was only five.
"I think your real pretty" Fred said to her
"Thank you?" Mose responded
Fred leaned in to kiss her, but she ran away screaming
Then there was when she was 9.
Mose was behind the couch waiting for the ball to drop on television
"5...4...3...2..."
On one Fred spun her around and kissed her. French kissed her.
Their mothers just smiled and said aw.
Mose on the other hand… was not so happy.
She ran down the street crying, she realized that if she went home she would be scolded. She decided it would be better to run to Ned's house. She knocked on the door. "Is Ned around?" she asked tears still streaming down her face. His mother let her in and said he was upstairs. She explained everything to Ned. He didn't understand why she was so sad, but comforted her none the less. Mose and Ned didn't yet understand Fred's mature ways. All Mose knew was that what ever he did to her… it didn't feel good.
Now she would have to face him again. The Bigbys would be there, too. She was shaking on the car ride there. Ned chose to ride with Mose. "Are you okay, your shaking like a phone on vibrate!?" he asked. "Um, Ned, remember when I was 9 and I came to your house talking about a boy named Fred?" He thought for a minute and recalled what she said. It all made sense to him now. He clenched his fists together. He loved Jennifer even though he would never tell her that. He can't believe that bully would confuse such a beautiful innocent girl like that! 'She didn't ever kiss someone… well other than me at my birthday party but her mom told her to so it doesn't count. Plus she said he dug his tongue into her mouth, poor Mose must not have had any idea what was going on.' He nearly cried thinking of her so clueless and defenseless. "Well…" she went on. "We are going to his house."
Ned wanted to scream, but kept his mouth closed none the less. When they finally reached Fred's house they all got out of the car. Mose blocked out the parent's chatting and Ned talking to her, not knowing she wasn't listening. Instead she focused only on the hallow stomping of her feet on the gravel, then on the creaking wood floor, deep in thought. She hardly noticed when Fred was there, right before her eyes, so cold, smirking. This would be a lonnnng day.
As soon as I get 5 reviews I will write the next one! Hope you liked it!
