The small Espurr just stared at the carnage around it. All the vegetation was gone, the buildings had crumbled, the ground was torn up, and the people and pokemon who had been happily walking along just moments before where gone. There weren't even bodies, all that was left were shadowy forms on the ground and piles of ashes. The Espurr just stared as it normally did though its usual expression was changed slightly with a slight look or horror and guilt. Espurr was the only living thing in the area. It had blood matted in its fur virtually everywhere, blood was coming out of its eyes, and blood leaked out of its ears and down its paws which were clamped over its ears tightly. After what felt like an eternity but was only a span of about five minutes the Espurr's trainer was coming back. She had avoided the disaster, as just minutes before the incident she had had to run off to run an errand. Espurr had just been waiting for her return patiently when a couple of teenage boys had come up. They had been mistreating the poor thing and being unnecessarily rough with the small cat like pokemon. The line had been crossed though when one boy pulled harshly pulled on its ear, and the immense psychic power of the Espurr was released destroying everything in a ten block radius. The girl's run slowed until she was walking and a look of horror dawned on her face as she realized that the sight before her was caused by her beloved partner. She came over and stood in front of it. Espurr stared up at her sadly.
"I didn't mean to kill these people! It was an accident! Don't hate me! I can't control it! I'll be better! I'll learn! Just don't leave me please!" Unfortunately to the girl the Espurr's pleading was only the sorrowful repetition of its name and other noises. Tears gathered in her eyes and fell down her face.
"I can't deal with this anymore, I just can't train you. I'm sorry." The last part was little more than a whisper and she turned away and started walking.
"Espurrr!" The pokemon sorrowfully called after its trainer, trying to get her to turn around and come back. It became angry when she didn't. Then all Espurr saw for a moment was red, when its vision cleared it saw its trainer laying on the ground. She had blood flowing out of her eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. She was dead, Espurr the only living thing again, lowered its head and wept, as the sirens of Officer Jenny's motorcycle was heard in the distance coming towards it.
