This is a sequel to Forces of Nature. I do not own the Powerpuff Girls. Well, ENJOY!

Dark, gloomy clouds replaced white, fluffy clouds, bringing a light rain. A mother grabbed her child's hand and ran home. Bubbles smiled warmly and then continued down a familiar path. Droplets of rain came down which turned her smile into a grin. She loved the rain, ever since her encounter with Boomer, in a terrible storm. She let out a content laugh as she recalled the memory once again.

~Flashback:

"C'mon, Blue, you can tell me" he said while taking a step closer and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. She flinched at his touch.
" N-nothing, it's none of your concern," she whimpered and took a step away from him. "Why are you out here?" he asked, a little more concerned. "Like I said, it's none of your concern," she stated flatly. "I didn't mean to make you angry, Bubbles, it's just that I..." he trailed off, awestruck by her beauty as another flash of lightning lit up the sky, making her facial features more angelic. She stared up at him, also mesmerized by his angelic features. He took a step closer, and this time she didn't move away, instead she took a step closer. Soon, their faces were mere centimeters away from each other.

Boomer whispered, "Bubbles, I-" She silenced him by placing a finger on his tender lips. "Say no more." Then she leaned in and molded her sweet lips with his, making all their worries go away and forgetting how soaked they were because of the pounding rain.

~End of flash back

With a content sigh, she continued on her path to the park. Once she reached the park, she spotted the swings and eagerly ran towards them. Oh, but its more fun when there is someone to push you, but I don't think anyone is out in this weather, she thought.

"Well, well, well, looks like someone needs a push," a familiar voice said from behind.

"Oh Boomer! You know I do!" she exclaimed happily, ever since she recognized the voice. He gently put his hands on her back and gave her a good push. "Wee! Ha-ha! C'mon Boomer, join me!" she giggled and stopped swinging.

"Oh, alright. Anything for you," he said, then got on the swing next to her. She took his hand and both swung together.

"Hey Boomer?" Bubbles asked.

"Yea, what's up?" he replied and stopped swinging to look at her fully.

"Why do you like me?" she asked suddenly, but regretting asking in the first place.

"What kind of question is that," he replied, "there isn't any words that can describe why I like you because there are so many!" With that, he got off the swing and pulled her towards him. He inched closer to her face and kissed her passionately. She gladly returned the kiss and pulled apart to embrace him tightly. The rain suddenly stopped and Bubbles smiled and looked up. "Boomer?" she asked returning her gaze to him.

"Yea Bubbles, what is it?" he asked.

"I love you," she said and smiled warmly at him. Boomer was a bit shocked, but was really happy.

"I love you too, Bubbles," he said then pulled her into a meaningful embrace, then kissed her. The sun peeked out of the light gray clouds, drying up some of the rain. Bubbles took his hand and walked with him, happy what with the rain will always bring for her, love.
