Summary: Was it over between Frank and Olivia? She hoped not.

"You... were gonna marry me."

One week had gone by since Frank left. Olivia could not stop thinking about him. Sitting on the floor of her apartment, surrounded by bare walls, she stared at the diamond solitaire still on her finger. His mother's ring. She was about to slip it off when she realized that Frank had took back everything in the apartment except this. There was no doubt she still had feelings for him. Seeing the hurt on his face in the hospital broke her heart into tiny pieces. She decided to keep the ring on if only to convince him how much he meant to her.

With the way things were between them, she was more than a little surprised to get his call.

"Where do I stand with you?"

"I-I want things to go back to before."

"What about... the father?"

The father... heh... No matter what she may have felt for him, Peter made it perfectly clear to her who he had wanted. It was not her.

"I no more belong with him, than he with me."

There was a long silence before Frank spoke again. "Do you still want to marry me?"

"Yes!" There was no hesitation in her response this time. "I love you."

A knocking startled her. When she opened the door, Olivia found Frank sitting on the floor just outside. He looked up at her with tear stained eyes.

"Hey."

"Do you mean it?"

She crouched down next to him, laying her head on his shoulder.

"We can't go back, can we?"

"No."

He sighed.

"What do we have now?"

He took hold of her hand, seeing the ring he had given her, he held it close to his chest.

"Hope."

Yes. There is always hope.
