Chapter 1
Hermione's POV
Harry, Ron and I entered wagon and I closed the door behind us.
"An other new start." I said with a smile, letting myself fall on the comfortable bench, right next to Ron.
Harry smiled at me as the door opened back again.
"Sorry to disturb, but have you seen a black cat pass by?" a long brown haired girl asked, looking around the cabin.
"No." I said, taking my own cat close to me.
"Oh, well, thank you."
The girl smiled to me and I couldn't help but smile back. Her eyes were a light shade of green, and the yellow lines traced around her pupils looked like sparkles. She had tiny lips but they were always up. She was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans and a shirt of all colors. I wanted to tell her she should change into Hogwart's uniform but couldn't dare... which is not my kind.
She shrugs and left but I turned around to face Harry before to look down.
"Who was she?" I frowned, looking up at my friends.
"Wow, there's something I know, that you don't know!?" Ron said as his eyes lighted up.
I sent him a cold look but he only smiled.
"Can you tell me?" I asked again.
"Wow, that's how you feel about knowing everything?" he kept going. "I admit, it feels good." he nodded.
I quickly grabbed his arm and put my face closer to his.
"Tell me now, Ronald."
He lost his smile and got out of my grip.
"Fine. Her name is Olivia, and she's two years older than us."
I sat back straight and pushed my hair behind my shoulder.
As I was going to thank him, he started talking again.
"She's a slytherin."
"Oh." I said after some seconds. "She didn't look like one."
"Beware." Ron only said.
"Not all slytherins are mean." I pointed.
"Most. And why do you take her defense, anyway?" Ron frowned.
I honestly didn't know, so I decided not to answer him.I looked at Harry, who was only looking at the wonderful images going by the window. It seems like he didn't get a word out of Ron and I's conversation.
"Harry?" I said, trying to take him off of his dream. "You okay?" I asked again.
He shook his head and turned to me.
"Oh, yea, I am." he said, sending me a smile. "Just... eager to be there." He added.
"Any special reason?" I smiled mischievously, thinking of the girl he fell in love with at the end of last year.
My best friend shook his head in a negative way.
"That's an old story, right Harry?" Ron spoke.
I hit him lightly on the arm, sending him a mean look.
"Mind your own business."
"Practice what you preach!" he snapped back at me.
I sighed in despair and rolled my eyes. Sometimes, Ron could really get on my nerves. Than again, I guess he could get on everyone's nerves at some point.
"Guys!" Harry almost yelled. "Calm down, it's not a reason to fight."
I sighed again, knowing he was right. If only that train could get to its destination.
