I don't own Monster High, but I own my OCs, so no stealing.

.-*-.

Jacob was glad that he was out of middle school. He had endured enough bulling at the hands of the "normal" students to last a life time.

His father had thought about sending him to a public high school. For the first time in a while Jacob got into an argument with him, but it had the desired results.

He was going to attend Monster High.

Where his father worked. Sigh.

It was two weeks before the first day of school, and his dad was taking him school shopping, which was ridicules. All his old clothes still fit from last year.

So now he was sitting in the passenger seat of his father's hearse (how he could drive, or even see was unknown to Jacob. His father didn't have eyeballs) and watched normies glare at them from their own cars.

They pulled up into the parking lot of the Maul, where the hearse didn't stick out so much. As they walked in Jacob didn't stray from his father. He hated places like this. Too loud, too noisy, too… all in your face about it.

His dad stopped for a moment, dark hood turning to look at the windows of a store called Paralyzing Pets.

"What do you think? He asked in his hoarse, echoing voice.

Jacob looked at the floor and shrugged. His father sighed and they started walking again.

When they reached the store Jacob headed straight for the changing booths while his father started towards the boy's clothes.

"Grimm!"

Jacob turned to see his father's boney hand being shaken by a patchwork monster. "Hello Victor. Shopping with your daughter?"

Victor gave a tired nod. "I am never doing this again. Why are you here?"

"I'm here with my son Jacob. He's just entering Monster High." He gestured for Jacob to join them, which Jacob did, though along with a deep sigh.

The mint-green monster knelt down so he could see under Jacob's hood. "Hello Jacob. I'm Victor Stein."

"Jacob Reaper," he muttered to the floor.

"He's a bit shy," Mr. Reaper explained.

Victor nodded and took a deep breath. "I was very sorry to hear about Billa. She was one of the greatest people I ever knew."

His father's hands tightened on his shoulders and he took a shuttering breath. "It's been hard without her, but we're getting though it."

"Daddy!" A girl with mint-green stitched skin and black and white streaked hair ran towards them, but froze when she saw Jacob's father. "M-Mr. Reaper."

"Ah, Miss Stein. I would like to introduce my son Jacob. He's just starting Monster High this year."

She smiled at him. "Hi! I'm Frankie Stein. It's voltage to meet you."

Jacob just nodded and pulled his sleeves down to the tips of his fingers.

"We should get back to shopping," Mr. Reaper said.

"Us too," Mr. Stein said and they separated.

Grimm Reaper sighed and pulled his son close. "I hope that you'll be able to make friends this year."

"They were surprised when they was me," Jacob muttered. "I'm a freak."

His father sighed. "That's why you're going to Monster High."

"I'm a freak everywhere."

He pulled his son closer. "Not to me," he promised.

.-*-.

I've been trying to do this for a while. Anyway, meet Jacob Reaper, my first male main character OC. Please read and review.
