A/N: Here's yet another GG drabble-y ficlet. This one is about Blair in Ep. 2.14 and her meeting with the Colony Club. It's kind of random, came to me at 3AM. But I like it. It's basically the result of my hatred toward those women for insulting Chuck Bass. I laugh at them. Ha. Haha. High school really does follow you everywhere, doesn't it? Anyway, enjoy! R&R! Thanks! –Mac

How Dare They
Blair Waldorf had an idea about how her life should look in the future. And recently it hadn't been going quite according to plan for her. Honestly, it was in complete disorder. But she saw a light at the end of the tunnel. There was a hope that it would all be turned around.
Three words changed everything: The Colony Club.
Everything she had ever dreamed about would come true if she could just land this meeting over tea. Everything had to be perfect and then she would be rewarded for all her efforts. It looked as if it would all turn out splendidly.
But then they started to talk about Serena and Chuck.
Blair wanted to agree—she knew she should agree. She knew she should say she didn't condone Serena's inappropriate behavior. She knew she should say she wanted nothing to do with Chuck Bass. But if Dorota's disapproving glare wasn't enough, all she could think was how these petty, obnoxious women were cutting down her best friend, a girl who was practically her sister, and how the bitches were ridiculing the man she loved—no matter how much she knew she shouldn't.
It was too much for Blair to keep quiet. So she put those women in their place. Honestly, if Blair didn't have class, she would have said quite a few more choice words that would have melted the argyle right off their cashmere sweaters. As it was Blair did have class and she had no more time to waste on them.
So maybe she was throwing all her dreams away. Blair didn't care. She looked forward to a brighter future—one with Serena by her side and the continued presence of Chuck in her life.
Besides, Dorota looked proud of her.
