Locklyle
Summary: Lockwood and Lucy finally get together! What will happen though? Will they have children? Get married? Who knows what could happen.
A/N: This is my first fanfic, so don't judge me if this story is terrible! Thanks!
Disclaimer: Sadly I don't own Lockwood & Co. the absolutely brilliant Jonathan Stroud does. :(
Chapter 1
Lucy's P.O.V.
I was sitting in the living room, sketching. George sitting on the desk chair behind the couch in front of me. I hear the loud steps of someone running up the stairs. "Hey," Holly says casually as she walks into the room and sits herself down in front of me.
What could she possibly want? I ask myself. Doesn't she have enough from me already? She's already taken everything away from me, including Lockwood, I say to myself.
"Hi," I respond as politely as I possibly can putting the fake smile I always use when I'm specifically talking to her. "Well, you know how you said you were leaving," she says shyly.
Why is she bringing this up? "Yeah what about it?" I said clenching my jaw. "Yeah, well, Lockwood and I, we were talking about it and," she says as she crosses her legs, "well we were saying that when you left... your room would become... mine." A small 'innocent' smile taking over her face.
George, who is reading a comic book, looks confused at Holly over the comic book but she can't see him because he's behind her. Lockwood comes into the room, a book in his hands, and he looks really interested in it. He sits down next to me on the 2 seater couch, instead of the larger couch where Holly is at.
"So I was, I mean-we, we were wondering when you were going to leave... so that I can put my stuff in the room," she looks at Lockwood and back at me. "Excuse me!?" I shriek.
What? No! This couldn't be possible! No, Lockwood did not want me gone! I was sure of it. He couldn't, we... we had a connection, we had something and besides, I was so sure that he didn't mind my staying here for a few more days until I found a place.
"Lockwood?" I turn my head to look at him, his eyes on the book, his face deep in interest. "Is this true Lockwood, you want me gone?" I say my voice betraying me by coming out more sad than angry.
"Sorry, what?" His eyes leaving the book slowly. He looks at me and his mood changes as I see he has no clue what's happening.
"Is it true you want me gone?" I repeat myself, my voice sounding like I want it to again. "What? No! I never said that" his voice sounds hurt and offended.
I turn to glare at Holly, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!" I scream at her as I realize she was lying, she gets scared and looks at Lockwood like she needs saving... from me. Oh, I'm sorry hun, but not even Lockwood can save you from me, I think as I stand up and walk towards her.
Before she can even speak I slap her across the face and she falls onto the couch. The boys are just staring at me like I just killed their poor, innocent, stupid, Holly. I stand in front of her for a bit, "you know what, FINE! I'll leave right now Holly!" I scream at her at the top of my lungs, "that way you can spend the rest of your miserable days with Lockwood." I say without thinking and he looks over at me.
As I storm off up the stairs headed for my room, I hear footsteps running after me. I slam my door as hard as I can to let the person know I want to be alone.
"Lucy, Luce can I come in?" Oh great! It was Lockwood! What could he possibly want and why was there sweetness in his voice? "Leave! Lockwood, I want to be alone," I scream at the door that separates us. I dig for my suitcase under my bed and push it open forcefully.
Lockwood, being Lockwood, doesn't listen and comes into the room anyway, closing the door behind him. I go to my closet and take out my clothes, speeding back to my suitcase and dumping them in. Lockwood just leans against the door and watches me repeat this process about 3 times. Once my suitcase is full, I go back to the closet to check if I left anything. Once I know I didn't leave anything, I turn around slowly and find Lockwood standing right before me.
"Move Lockwood," I say through my teeth and trying to look away from his eyes "Lucy, calm down." He says getting a hold of my chin and lifting it so I look at him in the eyes. "What! Are you not going to scream at me, like you always do! For hurting your poor, little defenseless girlfriend, Holly?!" My voice cracking and my eyes becoming watery.
"No... I'm not going to scream at you, and she isn't my girlfriend" he looks deep into my eyes, "you do need to apologize though, you left her really hurt, and not just physically." He says, a smile making its way to his face, and I roll my eyes. He puts his hands, at my sides, against the closet, blocking my way to freedom.
"Why don't you-Why can't you just go comfort her, like you always do?" I wipe my eyes of tears but they keep coming back. "Ok, what's up with you? You've been acting weird ever since Holly got here." He says, putting his right hand on my shoulder to comfort me. "Nothing!" I shake my shoulder and his hand falls. "What do you care? It's not like you ever listen," sadness seeking its way through my voice.
My eyes are just seconds of becoming pure water. I try punching him in the chest with my hand but he gets a hold of it before it touches him.
"Lockwood, please... move. I can't do this anymore! I can't act like we aren't ever going to be," I mutter the last part so he doesn't hear me, and he doesn't. "My train is leaving I have to go!" I yell at him, "I don't care... I don't care if you train leaves! You are not leaving this house!" He orders as I lean my head against the closet. "You aren't leaving me," he finishes and my eyes stop watering and he lets go of my hand.
I wipe my eyes and cheeks of the tears I had shed. "You can't leave before I tell you." He says looking at the floor, "tell me what?" I ask softly. "I need to tell you - I need to tell you how I feel... about you," he cups my face in his hand and stares into my soul through the windows that everyone calls eyes. "Lucy... since the day I met you - I laid eyes on you, I knew you were special. Lucy, I... I love you," he leans his face closer to mine slowly, his lips reach mine and he kisses me passionately like he's waited for centuries to do it. I close my eyes and kiss him back with just as much force and love because all I wanted at that moment was him, and only him. I put my arms around his neck and pull him closer so that both every part of our bodies are pressed together.
Well, you know how in most movies and books, every time someone kisses, they almost always get very rudely interrupted. Yeah well, Holly was our interruption. I flick my eyes open and find Holly by the door, her mouth completely open and her eyes starting to water.
I push Lockwood away and stick my tongue out at Holly, and she takes off running down the stairs. "What? Am I a bad kisser or something?" He asks-oblivious of the sound of Holly running-moving his finger smoothly along the bottom of my lip as a smile creeps onto the corners of his mouth. "Also, why did you stick your tongue out?" He questions innocently. "Holly, she saw us and took off, down the stairs, after I stuck my tongue out at her," I answer stuttering, feeling very guilty.
He chuckled and said, "so? I thought you hated her," smiling down at me. "Well... yeah but... I thought you didn't," I replied knowingly. "Well I know you hate her... and I've decided that whoever or whatever you hate, I hate as well," his smile turning into a childish grin. My guilt disappearing and making me beam out of happiness, as I go close the door forgetting about Holly.
"Yeah, that's what I thought, now come here and kiss me some more," he says beckoning me back over to him. I lock the door and start to walk slowly towards him. He covers the space between us quickly, with his long legs, and takes my hand and leads me to my bed. As he kisses me and I kiss him, we sit down on the bed. He starts crawling on top of me and pins me to the bed. He kisses me so full of passion, that I just have to return it.
We basically have a kiss-makeout session for 10 minutes until George yells at us from downstairs to come and eat.
"Hey," I say as I push Lockwood off of me. "We have to go downstairs before George comes up here," I tell him. "Okay," he replies in a sad tone. I smile appreciatively at Lockwood and then he suddenly scoops me up bridal style.
"No stop it! I'm gonna fall! Lockwood!" I yell all the way until we get to the kitchen. Lockwood puts me down and we both look up to see only George in the kitchen. "Where's Holly?" Lockwood asks. "She just stormed out a couple minutes ago yelling that she's going to kill Lucy," George says casually. "What?!" Lockwood shouts. "It's fine, she won't really do it," George answers. "But you never know, she might come back and do it in the middle of the-" Lockwood yells. "Stop worrying, nothing will happen!" I interrupt him. "Lockwood, please calm down and stop all the "what-ifs" and other stuff. Okay?" I say. "Okay," he says. I see his shoulders relax from the tension, and I know that he has calmed down.
"I think I'm gonna go to bed, I'm not that hungry anyway," I sigh. "I'm not either, I'm going also. Good night George," Lockwood says, sliding his arm around my waist. "Okay... good night guys," George says awkwardly.
We walk to his room and I stop him in front of his door, "are you sure?" I ask him. "Only if you are," he responds kissing the top of my head. I look up at him and nod my head, he kisses my cheek lovingly and opens the door.
As soon as we're in the room Lockwood locks the door and he leans down and starts to kiss me deeply, and starts to take off my shirt.
