i don't own anything in here.
I'd never really wondered about death. Like I'd told Liam and Buri years before, there's nothing you can do from a grave. Once you're dead, you're dead. I guess I also somewhat saw death as failure. Or learning the hard way that there is someone better then you. I'm not sure which is more comforting. But I have regrets, if only that I couldn't have lived a bit longer.
No George, don't cry, please don't cry. It hurts to see you cry, and I'll see you in the peaceful realms someday. Good-bye Thom, I'm very proud of you. You are an extraordinary mage. Alan, good for you for taking over the King's Own. You are a good successor for Raoul. Aly, I love you, and I always have. I'm glad you found a man that you could love, and something that could consume you. To all of you, I'm sorry I was there so much.
It was my time to go. I had had the hand of the Goddess on me, but I was mortal. I died doing what was worth so much to me. Kel, don't look like that, you know my determination, what it takes to get as far as we did. What we have to fight for besides a country.
I wonder if I will see Alex or Roger. I hope not. But the people I killed… I don't know if I want to see them or not. More then a few will be bitter towards me. I killed so many, and I have regrets for each and everyone, even Roger and Alex, if only because they were human.
Jon, Thayet, I was proud to have served you both. Roald and Shinko will make exhalent rulers after you. Gary, Raoul, good-bye my friends. Thank you for so much. You were some of the first to accept me when the truth was told. Buri, take care of your husband. So many others I knew. Good bye to you all.
I don't know who killed me- the battle was so confusing, but I think I was stabbed from behind. I can't tell because of how my body was dressed.
Here is the Black God. It is time to go.

George wiped his eyes. The funeral had been held earlier that day and he was now trying to get to sleep. It was always hard to sleep when Alanna wasn't next to him, but the thought that she would never be next to him again was almost unbearable.
He closed his eyes. No, he would see her again. She had promised before she had left. It was that thought that let him sleep. It was that thought that let all the friends of Alanna the Lioness of Pirate's Swoop and Olau, King's Champion, sleep.
Depressing, but i wanted to write something like this. Oh, and yes, i have been called emo
