The streets of Traverse Town were rather quiet for a bright festive town packed with lanterns and crammed full of buildings. The cobblestone streets were vacant and signs swung above every second doorway.

Two good buddies strolled through the streets like the cock of the walk. They were the two MEANEST and NASTIEST troublemakers this side of The World That Never Was.

One was bigger than the other, the top of his head red and spiky. His companion was shorter, about half his size and yellow.

"Boy, did we do great?" Red said.

"Yeah!" Yellow chirped up, licking some sea-salt ice cream.

"Our boss is going to be happy for sure! We vanquished those heartless in record time! You were phenomenal out there."

"Aw, stop it! You're making me blush!"

"No, I'm serious! I'm glad the boss recruited you into our order! If he had of sent only me, I wouldn't BE coming back alive."

"Yeah, but.." Yellow looked sad. "You were the one that found that treasure I missed."

"Pffft!" Red patted his companion on the head. "You'd have found it, I'm sure. I only had a chance to nab it because you were keeping those all those Shadows busy! You earned that ice cream tonight."

"Thanks."

But Yellow got something inside his head. As he watched Red sort of wiggle his behind as they walked down the street.

It was a sort of a mesmerizing sight. Maybe they'd been eating a little TOO MUCH ice cream after all these missions.

Yellow noticed his mouth had sort of stayed agape and quickly closed it before his companion turned back around to look at him.

"Hmm, I wonder if.. we shouldn't go clear out the next district too...?" Red stroked his chin, quite pensive and deep in thought. "We're not due back for another fifteen minutes or so. Whadda say? Should we clear out the Third District?!"

Yellow seemed distracted by something, and it took him a minute to respond with, "Sure! Let's do that!"

Red smiled warmly as he noticed those bright optimistic eyes staring back up at him.

Yellow was feeling bold. Bolder than usual. Maybe it was their latest victory, but he felt like he could do anything. He reached over and took Red's hand in his.

Red looked surprised, but didn't break away.

And the two friends... perhaps something more... made their way down the street.

A blazing, fiery chakram smashed into Red though and he exploded into tiny fragments of confetti.

Yellow leaped up into the air before a shining Keyblade smashed him to ribbons.

The chakram returned to its owner. Axel slung it over his shoulder as he pinched the bridge of his nose and massaged his brow.

"That's the third Meowjesty and Komory Bat combo we've had to vanquish this week! Boy, these Dream Eaters are everywhere."

"I'll say." Roxas wiped at his forehead with the back of his hand.

Cid called at them from the doorway of his shop. "Thank goodness you two showed up when you did! I thought I was losin' my mind when I saw that damn cat and that flippin' fruit bat holdin' hands!"

While Cid, Axel and Roxas were busy laughing and having a merry time, Roo sneaked inside Cid's Accessory Shop. He pilfered a Pooh Stick that some nameless NPC had sold Cid earlier. Filled with purpose and making sure the coast was clear, Roo sneaked back out into the streets and hurried back to the Fellowship of the Pooh.

The End!
