Set before "You Posted What?"

"Chase get up!" Bree pounds on my capsule. My internal clock reads 7:33. Ugh, why couldn't she have just let me wake myself up? My alarm goes off in two minutes, she knows that!

"Chase did you hear me? Wake up!"

"Give me a minute!" I spit back.

"No, I want to get to school early." She protests.

7:34, one more minute, all I have to do is kill one more minute.

"Just a second." I grumble.

"Ugh, fine but if you are late I am leaving without you."

Just a couple more seconds…..

BEEP BEEP BEEP! Yes, my alarm. My eyes snap open, and my alarm turns off. I quickly change into my school cloths, left side first of course. By the time I finish getting ready, I am alone in the lab. I race upstairs as quickly as I can. Just as I get upstairs I see Tasha, Bree, Leo and Adam walking out the door.

"Wait up!" I yell after them.

I grab my backpack and race after them, so much for breakfast. When we get to school, 30 minutes early might I add, I see why Bree wanted to come so early. Her boyfriend, James, was leaving on the senior trip. Figures, the only way she would ever come to school early would be for a boy. She is just so annoying at times, well at least I have a math test first hour to cheer me up.

The math test starts off great, but the farther in I get, the worst things get. It starts off with simply needing ever scan- tron answer bubble to be perfectly filled in. Then, the number of problems on each page start to bother me. On some pages there are 7 questions, some 4 questions, 6 questions or 8 questions. Very few pages had 5 questions on them, 5 is the perfect number. If there isn't 5 questions the number isn't right.

Then it's the teacher's white board. There a few little spots he forgot to erase… just a few evil little black smudges that taunt me mercilessly up on that board. I start to drum my fingers on my desk. Sweat starts to pour out of my face. Those smudges are just sitting up there… mocking me. Finally, I give in.

"Mr. Merrylin?" I whimper.

"Yes Chase?" He seems puzzled, that I would be asking him a question.

"Could you uhh… you know… maybe,…. Ummm.."

"It's okay Chase, you can ask me." The whole class has now stopped working, and are staring at me.

"Can you please erase those black smudges on the board?" I drop my head in shame as the whole class laughs. The second the words come out of my mouth I realize why I am acting so strange, I forgot to take my OCD meds.

"Okay Chase." He says to me.

He gets up and erases the smudges for me, every last one of them. He is a kind hearted man. Unfortunately, I am unable to finish my test in time for the bell. The tennis shoe scuffs on the ground drive me crazy, and the test ended on an odd number. Plus, the staple wasn't centered in the corner of my test, and the girl sitting in front of me was wearing miss matching socks. There was no way for me to pay any attention during that test.

When the bell rings I raced to my locker to grab some emergency meds out of my locker, I take them as quickly as I can. Hopefully these will kick in fast, or else I have a long day ahead of me.

Okay that was a quickly little one-shot. Maybe I'll make more if you guys want. If any of you guys have any ideas of something for me to write… just send it to me!
