Author's Note: Happy Halloween! Tsukiko Nami is not a previously existing character if you were wondering. Garret is my oc. Word count is 666, fuckers.

Scarlett tied the cape around her neck. Her costume was the main character from Scarlett's favorite magical girl anime, Tsukiko Nami or Tsu Nami as the fans and other characters called her.

Picture this: Scarlett's black shoulder length hair covered up by a blue wig that reached to her thighs. Her flowing sapphire dress reached just above her knees. She wore white knee-length socks, elbow length gloves and dark blue flat shoes. Add in the cape and you'll have a decent picture of Scarlett's costume.

"Matt!" Scarlett shouted. "Are you ready?"

Matt groaned loudly. " Do I really have to wear this?"
"Yes!" Scarlett responded with anger in her voice. Matt opened his bedroom door and let Scarlett in. "You look fantastic!"

Matt crossed his arms. He was wearing a skin-tight leather jumpsuit, a gray cloak and boots. His hair was slicked back. Matt agreed to go as the show's villain, Hideki Kazuki. He was seriously regretting it now.

"I hate you so much. " Matt grimaced.

Scarlett laughed. "Oh come on! I know you love me, dude." She winked. "How's my costume? I couldn't walk in heels so that's why I'm wearing flats. But other than that, it's completely accurate!"

Matt faked a smile. " I love it~."

Scarlett spun around. "I know you're being sarcastic, but thank you."

Scott walked in. "Hey Matt, I need to-", he stopped in his tracks. Scott's eyes scanned Matt up and down. " Oh my god." Scott burst into laughter. "You," he spat out between fits of laughter, "look ridiculous!"

Matt flipped Scott off. "Scarlett's idea. I don't see you laughing at her."

Scott composed himself as best as he could. "Yeah but Scarlett isn't dressed up as an emo bdsm mage."

Scarlett stopped Scott before he walked out. "Hey Scott, I still need someone to be the love interest. Would you-"

Scott interrupted. "Fuck no." He exited the room.

Scarlett muttered a simple, "God damn it."

Meanwhile, Jamie was fastening a velvet cape around his neck. Fake blood dripped from vampire teeth. "Holly! How does this look?" He asked.

Holly took a long look at Jamie in his Dracula costume. "Daaamn." Holly wolf-whistled. " That shit is fucking hot."

Jamie smirked. "I am that shit." The two giggled uncontrollably soon after.

"Holy shit, man." Holly grinned. " What about me?" Holly was dressed as a black cat. A cat nose and whiskers had been drawn on her face with eyeliner.

Jamie threw an arm around Holly's shoulder. "Don't get me wrong, you still look cute but you also look like a furry."

Holly frowned. "Bitch, I'm not a furry."

Jamie chuckled. "Whatever you tell yourself."

Something or someone tackled Jamie and Holly. "SURPRISE!" Pedro shouted. "Look, I'm a werewolf." Pedro smiled widely.

Holly pretended to gasp. "Terrifying."

The five and Holly left the house during the evening. Except for Scott who said he'd watch for trick or treaters.

Matt kept his head low as he walked with Scarlett to a party. Music blared from the house. Sexually frustrated people danced, clearly intoxicated. Matt was glad they'd be too drunk to remember how idiotic he looked.

"Matt?"
Son of a bitch, Matt thought. Wait, I recognize that voice.

Matt turned around to see Garret as a zombie. "Dude!" Matt smiled for the first time that night. "I haven't seen you in forever"

The two boys half hugged. "Yeah man, it sucks." Garret spoke coolly. "I like your costume. It suits you."

Matt chuckled, sarcasm dripping from his voice. "Thanks, I hate it." He rolled his eyes. "I'm only wearing this 'cause Scarlett wanted me too."

Garret loosely gripped Matt's cloak before letting it slip. "She has good taste."

Matt wrapped an arm around Garret's waist. "I can't believe you actually like this."

Garret winked at Matt. "Hey man, you'd look good in anything."
