Prompt: Forehead or cheek kisses

"I'll see you at home later," Paige said and quickly kissed Mike on his cheek.

She could see a smile tugging at the corner of his lips and she froze once she realized why. They weren't alone. They were at Headquarters and suddenly their secret fling was public.

The heat rose to her face as she everyone watched them. At least it felt like everyone was watching them. It wasn't that she was embarrassed to be sleeping with Mike. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was just that they both enjoyed keeping it private. Because now the whole house was going to be in their business and offering unsolicited opinions about their thing. Either people were going to tell them they shouldn't be together. Or that they were soulmates. Everything was still so new, she didn't want all this extra pressure and attention. She wanted to enjoy the moment and not get caught up what everyone else thought.

Plus, they both got off on the secrecy. They both got a thrill from flirting in front of their roommates. Casual touches that weren't really that friendly. She was convinced that someone was going to walk in on them when they were fooling around, but it was an innocent kiss on Mike's cheek that outed them.

She could tell it was killing Mike not to gloat. She was convinced he would be the one to out them. That he would do something in public to confirm their housemates' suspicions. He hadn't. She did. "Go ahead." She was never going to hear the end of this.

"You owe me twenty dollars." Mike expectantly held out his hand.

In fact, she had been so sure that he would be the one that she bet him twenty dollars and a week's worth of chores. She groaned when she realized he was on kitchen duty this week. Maybe she could convince him to start next week.

"I have to get cash."

Mike nodded, "I think you're good for it. I know where you sleep."

"Keep it up and it'll be alone," Paige warned him.

"Duly noted," Mike said. "You should probably get going. They're waiting for you."

Mike motioned across the room to the group of DEA Agents. Just about the only thing that was going her way was that Johnny wasn't here. Although, she had no doubt that Zelanski would tell Zelanski if he hadn't already.

"Okay, I'm really leaving this time." Paige started to walk away from him and laughed when Mike pulled her back to him. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing," Mike said. He reached for her hand and sweetly kissed it. "I'll see you at home later."
