This wasn't supposed to happen.
She realizes it when she sees the finger pressing down and she just moves.
This was never supposed to happen.
She feels pain - painpainpainpainpain - and feels her body hit the floor, a horrible scream of her name reaching her ears. Her vision blurs but she can still see bright red occupying her whole sight. Those golden eyes that should never be filled with tears stare down at her and he's saying something but her head feels fuzzy and she can't hear it. She feels something drip from the corner of her mouth but pays it no mind. She just focused her half open eyes on the golden and red blur in front of her.
This wasn't how it was supposed to end.
"Please, please don't take her. Please, God."
Why was he crying? He should never, ever cry. He should smile. He's more beautiful smiling and laughing. Why was he crying?
"Sae . . ." she lets out, more blood dripping down her chin as he held her up, one hand stubbornly pressing against the wound on her chest. "Sae . . . young . . . its . . . okay."
"No!" he screams at her, pressing even harder. She feels the tears on her face and she knows that aren't his. "Its not okay! This was never supposed to happen! You're not supposed to die!"
God, she feels so, so tired.
"Its . . . okay," she repeats, the pain worsening by the second. She hears footsteps, countless of them and wonders if Jumin was able to get there in time. Well, in time to save Saeran and V at least. Her? Not so much but its her own doing anyways. She couldn't let Saeran shoot V. She just couldn't.
"Luciel . . ."
And that is Jumin. She smiles, despite everything.
"Why are you smiling?!" Saeyoung screams again, blind in panic and choking accidentally on his own sobs. He grips her even more tightly. "This is not the time to be smiling! Jumin, did you call an ambulance?"
"They're already here."
She feels herself be picked up but she's too tired to even focus anymore. Her body feels so heavy. She can't even force her arms to do anything or her legs. She keeps mumbling that its okay, hoping that they would understand why she did it, hoping that they wouldn't hate her for it.
It's okay.
It was okay.
She got to meet wonderful people, meet the love of her life, help him find his brother and she saved a innocent person from dying. V didn't deserve to die. But then again, neither did she.
But it was okay.
She was okay with it.
With dying.
Its not as painful as she thought it would be.
Her eyes begin to close, her mind beginning to disconnect with everything-
"Open your eyes!"
-but not even that can stop it. It just sweeps in, cold and merciless, and grabs hold of her and darkness fills her senses and she can no longer feel the hands holding her and so thought even letting her say goodbye, it pulls and-
.
she
.
just
.
lets
.
go
.
.
.
"Its okay."
Sorry . . . It seems . . . that there won't be a wedding in the space station after all.

Don't even ask. I don't know why. I'm just going to go.
