Dialogue Prompt: "You're one insult away from starting a war."

'Jerk,' read the text that appeared on the cellular device Ryou had given to Bakura a few months prior. The former spirit looked at the sender and let a low growl escape his mouth. It was from Malik.

The two Egyptians had been arguing all throughout the day about one thing or other over something Malik had texted him earlier that day. This quickly led to a cycle of insults that was enraging Bakura with each word and he was sure Malik felt the same way.

'Dimwit,' Bakura decided to send.

'Albino freak,' the next text read a minute later.

'Git.'

'Asshole.'

'Asswipe.'

'Psycho.'

Bakura smirked at this before texting, 'Ha! Like you're one to talk.'

'Grr. You're one insult away from starting a war,' Malik said and Bakura could swear he heard the growl in the other Egyptian's text.

'You and what army?'

'Marik.'

Bakura actually laughed at the text. 'You think he scares me? You'll have to do better than that Malik.'

A few minutes passed. 'The Millennium Rod,'

Then Bakura texted back quite simply, 'Ring.'

'Shoot,' came Marik next text. 'This isn't over,'

'Oh trust me Malik. This is very much over,' Bakura texted with a smirk, feeling triumphant. The former spirit turned off the phone and placed it in his pocket.

Ryou looked over from where he lay on the couch watching a movie. Bakura had been making some curious noises for the past half hour. "Who were you texting?"

"Don't worry about it host," Bakura said with a small, unsettling chuckle from where he sat on the other side of the couch. "It's nothing that concerns you."

The hikari sighed at this before turning back to the television screen and adjusting his blanket around him.

Ryou supposed Bakura was right about that. The less he knew the better and the less likely he would end up with a headache by finding out.
