A/N: Just a little snippet that I thought up. Reviews of any sort would be amazing!
And yes, this is slash. Nothing graphic.
Summary: Jack won't fall for destiny.
Disclaimer: I own nothing of Pirates of the Caribbean, nor am I making any profit off of this.

"Jack, this won't work."
"Hmm?" Jack hummed, inclining his head to look into the eyes of Will.
"This." his eyes traveled across their intertwined bodies. Bittersweet admiration of the familiar intimacy tore at Will's mind. "It's destined to fail." voice hardly above a whisper now.
"Destined?"
"Yes."
Will felt rather then heard Jack sigh deeply. "I never much cared for disappointing you, William." The younger pirate remained silent, fearful his words would draw the tension too taut.
Jack continued, "But it 'tis a shame that I was never one to fall into the holds of destiny." a grin lopsidedly tugged at his lips.
"Jack. You know as well as I-"
"Don't look for a tragedy that might never come. Set your eyes to the horizon, nothing more."
Will stared into fathomless eyes. He nodded slowly, throat too constricted with contradictions to speak. The ex-blacksmith resettled himself, once again placing his head on Jack's bare chest.
The horizon was far too vast for his liking, yet he could suffer no loss from looking to the east.
