"You can't get away!"

"Run Child! Run for your live!"

"We will get you!"

~No, please, no. I did nothing wrong. It was not me~

They ran. A small child, with a striped shirt. They ran into the woods, to the mountain. Far far away from them. They ran as fast as they could, looking back if the others still followed them. But then they tripped and fell. Deep deep down they fell.

"It sounds like it came from over here.

Oh! You've fallen down, haven't you…

Are you okay?

Here, get up…

Chara, huh?

That's a nice name.

My name is Asriel"

A little… Goat thingy… helped them up. Chara wasn't quite sure what happened. They still felt very Dizzy and their legs felt like spaghetti. The child couldn't really stand on their own, so Asriel helped them to walk.

"I will bring you to my family. Do you like Pie? My mom baked one this morning!" he smiled at Chara.

They wasn't quite sure if it was okay to trust them. But after all, there was not much they could do. So they listened to what Asriel told them, about how his family would surely love to meet them and that if they had no home they surely could live with them and eat pie all day. Chara didn't even listen to everything Asriel told them. They were still trying to remember what happened. They know, they were chased by others. And they tried to flee into the woods. And then they fell and woken up… here. Whatever here exactly was? They thought that story about monsters living in the mountain was just a story to scare kids like them to go there.

"Here we are! Our home!" Asriel said with a big smile as both approached a big house.

"Th-…this is… were you live?" Chara asked him. He nodded.

They both entered the house and Asriel shouted "Mom! Dad! A human has fallen down here! They are hurt!"

Soon, as in an instant, Chara was surrounded by three goat monsters. Two bigger ones and Asriel.

"Oh my!" the female one seemed to worry "Such a poor and innocent youth! What happened? Where are you hurt? We will fix that!" she hugged that child with such a warmth and love they never felt before.

"A human? Here? Come we will take care of you" a very deep voice seemed to try calming them. "I am Asgore, this is my wife Toriel and I think you already met my son Asriel"

Chara was not quite sure what was happening there, but it felt nice. They felt good for once and before they could introduce themselves, they started crying. It was kind of a mix of sadness, but a lot of happiness in there.

"There there. Let it all out" Toriel said while Asgore and Asriel started hugging them, too. Which made them just cry more.

After a lot of crying that had been done, some bandages and more cake all four of them sat there in the diner room quiet, happy and full. It was Asgore who broke the silence.

"So, Chara. You said your were falling down here?"

Chara nodded slowly.

"Why did you come to the mountain in the first place?" he asked her concerned.

But all Chara did was looking down. They didn't want to think about what happened and rather not tell them. Maybe they would hate them, too?

"It's ok child" Toriel said as she was seeing how painful it must have been for Chara "You don't have to tell us if you don't' want to."

Chara again nodded but did not look up.

"Mom? Dad? Can Chara stay here? I mean… they have nowhere to got and…" Asriel suddenly asked.

"If they want to…" Toriel kinda asked the human child.

Slowly Chara were looking up. "Are you…? You really want me… to stay?" they asked if they couldn't believe it.

Asriel nodded happily "Of course! We can become your family and you will be very happy here!"

Asgore and Toriel nodded with a happy and warming smile.

Tears were coming up again but Chara tried to swallow them this time "Okay" they said with a light smile on their face. They finally had a family. A REAL family.
