A/N: Okay this is just another One Shot and I kinda think that Glinda is out of character, but I don't really mind as I just wanted to write something like this lol Reviews are love, of course and cookies for everyone ;)

BRAVERISM

Galinda was sitting together with Misses ShenShen and Pfannee at a table outside. The sun was shining brightly and warming all of them. Galinda wasn't really paying any attention to the other girls conversation as she just wanted to enjoy the sun on her white skin.

But then a certain someone emerged the Halls and ShenShen and Pfannee instantly started gossiping about the green girl who chose to sit at an empty table. Slowly Galinda opened her eyes and started to listen to her friends.

'Oh, just look at this. She's wearing black at such a day!' ShenShen complained.

'Miss ShenShen she always wears black.' Pfannee pointed out and both started to laugh, but soon stopped when Galinda didn't follow suit.

'What is it, Miss Galinda?' they asked, but Galinda just shrugged so the other girls continuned insulting Elphaba.

Galinda secretly looked to her roomy and mentally sighed. Everyone saw her a the wicked green girl who was totally freaky, but after all she was just misunderstood and her life never had been easy. She looked to some other students to distract her mind, but everywhere where she was looking they seemed to gossip about Elphaba. A couple of weeks ago she wouldn't have cared about it, but by now she just knew her roomy too well to ignore all those wrong comments. Actually she thought of Elphaba as the best friend she ever had, because she took her for what she was and liked her being smart not being popular. But their friendship was a secret that didn't leave their room.

'I wonder what she did that she became green...' Pfannee mused grinning.

'Oh I don't really care about that, but just look at her. It's disgusting, don't you agree, Miss Galinda? It's a shame you have to be her roomy.' ShenShen didn't even make the attempt to be quiet so Elphaba heard her comment and looked up, but Galinda didn't notice. She was too occupied with trying not to lose her temper.

'Miss Galinda?' As an answer Galinda hit the poor table way to hard and her palm really must have hurt, but she didn't even notice. Instead she stood up.

'Could you please just keep your mouth shut for an instance?' she asked with a trembling voice. 'Don't you have anything better to do than that? Oh, but I guess no, because this poor girl is different than you want everyone else to be right? Am I right?!' But Galinda didn't get an answer as her friends were just too shocked.

'Oh now you lost your speech, didn't you? What did Elphaba do to deserve so much of your attention?' again she made a pause and by now half of the school was listening, but truely right now she didn't care.

'And to answer your question. I'm glad you're sooo concerned about me, but actually I'm pretty satisfied with my roomy, so no, it is definitely not a shame.' With that she strode away, but noticed that Elphaba had heard every word of it. Without much further thinking she headed towards her friend who actually had teary eyes. But Elphaba never cries.

'Glinda...' Elphie was at a loss of words and just managed to call Galinda by her nickname.

'Shh... it's fine. Can we go inside?' Galinda asked and brushed away Elphaba's tear that was threatening to fall.

'Yes... thank you.' The green girl answered and Glinda could see a hint of a smile.
