New Suit For Old

Ianto rode up and down the road, eyes darting from side to side. "Jack! Jack, talk to me!." The young Welshman got off the motorbike and looked around. "Jack! Please, talk to me!"

"Ianto!"

"Jack?"

"Down here." He coughed.

Ianto looked over the edge into a ditch. "Oh, God! There's so much blood!"

"Sorry…didn't want you to be the one to find me like this."

Ianto got down on his knees, touching the gapping wound in Jack's right leg. "I'm glad it was me." He looked back toward the top of the ditch. "I need to get you up to the bike." He looked at the other wound in Jack's chest, then took the immortal into his arms.

"No! You'll ruin your suit!"

He took no notice of the older man. "Buy me another one."

"I'll buy you a dozen new suits." He grinned.

Ianto carefully carried Jack back to the bike. Placing him on the seat, he supported Jack while he climbed in front of him.

"Need to make sure you don't fall off."

Jack felt Ianto take both of his arms and wrap them around his waist.

"Do you know how long I've wanted to do that, Ianto Jones?" He laughed.

"No, Jack."

"Mmm, since forever." Jack felt something being wound around his wrists. "Not your tie! I love that tie!"

Ianto was wearing his red silk tie

"You can buy me a dozen more."

"Hmm, feels good, being this close to you."

Ianto rolled his eyes in spite of himself. "We need Owen to take a look at you. You don't seem to be healing."

"Don't fret, Ianto Jones, I will. Just…give me a few hours."

Starting the bike, Ianto drove them back toward the Hub. Ianto tapped his coms link. "Owen! Owen, I need you!"

"Keep you boxers on, Tea Boy," said the medic.

"Jack's hurt pretty bad."

"Where are you?"

"Just approaching the underground garage."

"I'll be right down."

Between then, Ianto and Owen got Jack to the autopsy bay and onto the table. Owen cut away his clothing while Ianto paced, running a bloody hand through his hair.

"I-I couldn't find him!"

"But you did," said Jack, taking Ianto's hand in his. "You did."

Ianto smiled shyly, squeezing Jack's hand.

"Go get cleaned up, Tea Boy. Jack ain't goin' anywhere."

"Hmm? Yep. New suit in my locker."

"We'll go shopping this weekend," promised Jack.

"You don't have to, sir."

"No, but I want to. Shopping. Dinner. Movie."

Ianto smiled. "Are you asking me out on a date, sir?"

"Interested?"
