Like little kids

It was pouring on Destiny Islands. The news said it would be sunny, but they lied. It's raining hard.

Sora, Kairi and Riku sat bored around the T.V. Power was out, so what could they do?

''It's still not working?'' Asked Kairi. She walked over to the bookself and took a book out.

Riku was behind the T.V trying to get it to work. ''Nope.''

Sora sighed. ''Man, what can you do on Rainy days?" He put his face in his hands but then smiled. ''Heey, we can play board games!'' He ran over to the closet and grabbed Monopoly. ''Anyone?''

Riku shook his head. ''Nah, you beat us bad last time.'' Riku sighed recalling the memory. He didn't roll good numbers and got sent to jail twice. He kept on buying buildings, not knowing his spent half his money. ''What else you got there?''

Sora dug through it again. Nothing. ''Um..'' He rubbed his head. ''Any idea?''

Kairi smiled. ''We COULD bake stuff.'' She ran to the kitchen and pulled out cookies. ''Anybody?"'

''Maybe.'' Riku said. ''But, that's more of a Snack..''

Kairi rolled her eyes. ''So?''

''So, maybe we can play some.'' He snapped his fingers. ''VIDEO GAMES. Sora, do you have your old games?''

Sora nodded happily. He ran to his room and pulled out three controllers. ''I can hook up my N64...''

Riku pumped his fist in the air. ''Finally, something good!'' He smacked his hands together. ''What are we playing sir?''

Sora frowned. ''Something...if I can find them..''

Riku sat on the couch. ''Yeah, have fun with that.'' He sighed and took a quick nap.

The three played for hours. Riku beat Sora and Kairi many times in Mario Party, Kairi won the minigames, and Sora won the most stars.

''How?'' Riku wailed. ''How did he beat me in my favorite game?'' He put his hands on his face.

Kairi giggled. ''He always wins.'' She looked at him.

''So what should we play next?'' Sora asked.

Riku got up. ''I KNOW. Hide and go seek?''

Kairi and Sora stared at him. ''Isn't that a...kid game?''

''Nope.'' Riku declared. ''It's MY kind of game. I used to play it with kids on the Island.''

Kairi stared at Sora then shrugged. ''I mean why not?''

So, the three played around Sora's house. As always, Sora was first. He found Kairi easy, but Riku was harder.

''He better not be hiding in my mom's toilet..'' Sora joked and Kairi giggled. They opened the door and saw the room was clear. ''Kairi, check the bathroom..'' He said. ''I'm checking the bed.''

Sora carefully looked under the bed, inside the covers. Nope. Where could he have been?

Kairi looked in the shower, in the clothes hamper, nothing. Then she carefully flushed the toilet. Hoping Riku would jump out. Nope.

''Riku!'' Sora yelled again. Just then, they heard laughing and someone running downstairs. ''Kairi.'' He looked at her and they raced downstairs.

Sure enough, Riku was down there, running around. ''Ha Ha!'' He taunted.

Sora and Kairi were then chasing Riku around. Kairi almost caught him but he out ran her. Falling on the ground.

Riku finally stopped and smirked at Sora and Kairi. ''I guess I win this.'' He walked over to Sora and Kairi and helped them up.

''Your such a kid.'' Kairi giggled.

Riku shrugged. ''Hey, we are still young.''

''True.'' Kairi agreed.

''Yeah, but running around,'' Sora shook his head. ''Riku, your 16.''

Riku sighed. ''Again, we are still young.''

They all stared out the window, the sun starting shinning again. ''Hey, we can act like little kids can we?''

Sora shrugged. '' Wild little kids...''

Kairi checked the window. She smiled at them. ''Well, let's go to the beach and...''

''BUILD SANDCASTLES!'' Riku said, opening the door. ''Last one there is a dirty egg!''

And the three ran out the door, over to the Island.
