Disclaimer: We don't own The Little House on the Prairies series, and these people are actually our grandma and siblings that were raised in the 1930's, so we changed it slightly because they literally WERE pioneers (made their own houses, hunted, made their own clothes... you should get it). These are their ages: Eileen (pronounced Ilene): 10, Ruth (Grandma): 9, Alan: 5. We might add other people or ourselves to this later on, we don't know.

Ruth stared out the back of the covered wagon. The prairies seemed so endless to her. They were moving here to be closer to a town and to meet a friend of Papa's from when he was a small boy. Her pale blue eyes stared out at the fields of gold, while Alan tugged at her brown braids.

"Ally, stop it," she sighed. "Play with Eileen if you're bored."

Alan gave her a hurt look, but he crawled towards Eileen, who shot a glare at her sister.

Ruth tugged at the bottom of her dress. The dress was pale green cotton with thin stripes of blue going across it. There were tears at the bottom, but that didn't bother her. Mama was going to have a baby, so she didn't have enough time to mend anything.

Eileen was helping Mama make the meals and churned all the butter when they still lived on the farm. She had a fair look of red hair that went to her waist and deep green eyes that was the color of Mama's and Alan's. Mama had beautiful brown hair that was always in a long braid, and Papa had red hair with blue eyes. Alan, the youngest, had light blue eyes and brown hair.

Papa was humming a tune that wasn't familiar with her, but she loved the sound of it. He suddenly stopped humming and stopped the horses. The land was slightly cleared, and a family was waiting for them.

"Ingalls!" Papa called out to them.

TBC... Sorry its short! It's midnight where we live, and we're tired! We'll hopefully update soon.
