I've received several inquiries as to why I haven't posted any of my fan poetry at this site. The answer is that I don't really know why. So I'm posting just a few of my old favorites here, while I wait for my muse to get back to work. Comments are always welcome, as are new fanfic friends.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters from "Starsky and Hutch." I do occasionally borrow them, but never with fraudulent intent or with an eye to monetary gain.
A fun, little romp in rhythm and rhyme from Starsky's POV.
A Steak Out
By e-pony
Fishes' eggs
And boollabeggs.
(Did I spell that right?)
An extra fork?
(Man, I feel like a dork!
Do we gotta stay here all night?)
This rental tux
Cost me twenty bucks,
An' these shoes are way too tight.
I wanna go home,
'Fore I finish this poem,
But my partner's not in sight.
Oh, for a stakeout
With blue jeans an' takeout
And a couple of bad guys to fight!
But me an' Hutch,
We've kinda lost touch,
And I wanna make things right.
'Sides, I lost the bet;
So I'll pay the debt:
Steak an' snails by candlelight!
