"Oh,origami crane...No one understands me but you...I lovve you."
The crane stared back at Eridan.
The tension was getting high.
"Wwhy don't you evver talk to me anymore? I thought wwe had somethin!"
The crane said nothing, but it stared back at Eridan again.
Its gaze penetrating his very soul.
Eridan picked up the crane, trying to hold back his tears.
"You are tearing me apart!"
The crane simply stared back at him, mocking him, seeing him for all he was.
Eridan could take it no longer and began to cry , leaning against a wall, stroking the crane lovingly.
"Swweetheart...Do you not feel the same wway? Am I...boring to you? Is there..."
He choked on the words. He couldn't bear to say them aloud.
But he must. for the sake of his love.
"Is there...someone else?"
The crane, again, said nothing.
Eridan couldn't stand the silence any longer.
"Fine, bitch! I'll just find a neww one to lovve and hold at night!" he screamed, throwing the paper crane on the floor.
He stepped on it, spat on it, dumped water on it.
He mangled it beyond all repair, and sat down next to its remains.
His sobs had calmed down, and he was very tired.
He fell asleep soon afterward, his dreams littered with beautiful cranes flying across a violet sky.
His hand entwined with what was left of the crane's shreds.
