Prologue

It was like the entire city was screaming at the same time. The echoes that bounced off the buildings synchronized with the blazing fires and patters of footsteps. The people had endured this before, why again? A blue aura glew around the huddled people who were whimpering in fear. They stayed together, none daring to anger the dangerous looking girl, standing before them. "Well. That was easy. See? This is your natural state. Trembling in fear of being destroyed." The girl laughed.

The crowd trembled and their knees shook like leaves. The girl made a large golden scepter appear in her right hand. In the center of the spear point was a glowing blue light. She tilted it towards the ground while yelling one word, "Kneel!" The people glanced at each other at first, then, one by one they all lowered themselves to their knees. The girl chuckled darkly and cocked her head to the side.

"What? Are the defiant little mortals of earth that I hear so much about speechless? Ha! It amuses me how willingly you place yourselves under someone else's control. But then again, what would you humans be without someone to lead? Anarchy. But you've already doomed yourselves to it."

The girl starting cackling when something metal slammed against her cheek. She stumbled back, her hand cupping her injured cheek. Her ice blue eyes blazed with anger when she saw who threw the metal thing at her. Her snarl was soon replaced by an amused smirk. "Well hello there ladies. Has the tea party started without me?" She purred. One girl, the one who threw the thing at her, stepped forward.

She had light tan skin and dark brown hair. Her eyes were dark chocolate brown, but lit like flames. She was wearing a red tank top, black ripped jeans, and black boots. A single red streak ran through her smooth hair. In her right hand she was holding a circular shield.

"This is no tea party kid. You're coming with me now," The girl said firmly. The other laughed as though she had just heard a funny joke. "Me? Come with you? Ha! Humans are so funny!" She felt her arm heat up and soon it felt like someone was burning it off. The pain became so intense the girl couldn't take it anymore, so she fell to the ground, unconscious.
