Gravitational Pull

It was always there between them. That pull. Even when she was denying her feelings for him, she gravitated towards him. It was unpreventable.

Electricity hummed between them. Hell, sometimes it seemed as though the entire town could explode from the tension that their denial was creating.

When they kissed, each of them thought they were going to spontaneously combust. Fingers tangled in hair as they clung desperately to each other. It was as if they needed the other to breathe.

Even as their lips parted, they still swayed towards each other. She always seemed to chase his lips as if she wasn't quite ready to end the kiss, not that she would ever admit it. That pull was always there. They really did have to grab the little moments. And make the most of those moments they did.

With all of the evil which kept choosing to make an appearance in Storybrooke and the antics of the townsfolk, there was very little time they could take for themselves. Killian chose to look at every outing to investigate disturbances as a romantic outing. Some days it was easier than others.

Still, just being together no matter the reason made them feel complete. When they were part of crowd he was beside her or covering her back. It had been so absent from her life, having someone who was always there for her that it took some getting used to.

Looking back, she had always unconsciously moved towards him. Her subconscious trying to tell her what she wasn't ready to acknowledge or accept. Yet something about him drew her in. Even when they were arguing or rather when she was arguing, that gravitational pull seemed to be there. He had won her heart and he hadn't done it with any trickery as he had promised in Neverland.

She wasn't ready to call it True Love yet. Sure, they had chemistry. But for right now she was more than willing to let their gravitational pull work its magic and see where it took them. It was sure to be one hell of a ride.
