This is a reply to the challenge no.1 that WickedJelly had set.

Glinda stood at the window as she saw Fiyero and Elphie, no ELPHABA, run into the night.

She screamed at them, "I HOPE YOUR HAPPY!"

Don't wish

Don't start

Wishing only mourns the heart

She turned and saw the cake that was meant to be their wedding cake in the corner of the room. Why it was there she didn't know. Oh wait…she DID know. It was because Madame Morrible had it brought in to see if it was too her liking. Of corse Fiyero didn't care one bit about it and just grunted when she asked him if he liked it or not.

She knew he didn't like it. It was pink after all as was all the decorations. In fact, the only things that weren't pink were the wedding dress (white) and the groom's tux (black – a colour that Glinda hated). That was the one thing that Fiyero had insisted upon when she was choosing the wedding dress.

But Fiyero, she had whined, it's a wedding, not a funeral.

He had muttered something that sounded awfully like, exactly.

There's a girl I know

He loves her so

Glinda could hardly believe that was only five hours ago. Time flies when you're having fun, she thought sarcastically. Oh Elphie! See what you did too me? Your sarcasm has rubbed off on me and not only that you've taken MY FIONCÉ!

Tears were sliding down her face when Madame Morrible walked into the room.

"My Dear, my dear! Do not despair so for I shall get back at that witch for the conspiracy she has caused. But what shall we do?"

I'm not that girl

By then, so much hatred, jealousy and despair had welled up inside Glinda that she could not help but blurting out, "Her sister. Use her sister."

"Ah yes perhaps we could send a message that her sister is in trouble," said the Wizard grinning evilly.

Glinda felt sick in the stomach because of what she had just said. NO NO NO!! Her mind screamed at her for betraying Elphie like that. She told it to shut up and said to Madame Morrible,

"Excuse me, I don't feel so well," she whispered and nearly ran out of the room.

She ran all the way to her bedroom as fast as her stilettos would carry her. She opened the door and slammed it. Glinda threw herself onto the bed and cried.

She kept on crying until she heard a knock on the door. Her maid, Leleta, put her head round the door and saw the pitiable sight that Glinda must have made. Sympathy filled Leleta's mind and, forgetting her status, crossed the room and gave Glinda a hug.

Glinda continued to cry as Leleta got her out of ball gown and into her nightdress. Glinda got into bed and didn't reply when Leleta said, "goodnight, miss."

As Glinda drifted off to sleep, exhausted from all her tears. She thought she heard a man and woman, which sounded like Fiyero and Elphaba, laugh.

I'm not that girl…
