This is sort of a spinoff of Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2, haven't got the game yet so I'm just going to play along as far as I know and improvise from there until I get the game. (Note: This is a spinoff not a story about the actual game, so for those of you who have played it, I know I changed the characters. If you don't like it, deal with it. For those of you who haven't played, some of this is a spoiler, but not much so feel free to read if you wish.)

Prologue

Alya sat on the bridge of the Salvation looking into space and thinking. She was thinking about someone she hadn't seen in a long time and probably wouldn't see again.

Will.

The last time she had seen him he was grappling with the Emperor. Rage, anguish, and determination on his face all at the same time. She had flown the alliance leaders out of the throne room in the Rouge Shadow by the time it happened, but she felt it… Their bond was strong enough that she felt him go, felt him die. He had died thinking that not only had he saved people vital for the founding of the Rebel alliance, which he did, but had also killed the Emperor himself. Unfortunately, he didn't. The Emperor was still at the head of the Empire with Vader still by his side.

But she, and the rest of the Rebels, we're determined to finish what he had started or die trying. It was the least they could do to honor him and his sacrifice.

She chuckled bitterly and chided herself for dwelling on the past. What's done is done. Will was dead and she couldn't do anything about it. Better to focus on the here and now.

A Rebel soldier walked into the bridge, "Ma'am, General Kota is contacting us. He says it's important."

Alya knew that when the General said that something was important, it was in her best interests to hear it.

"Patch him through," she said.

A miniature holographic form of Kota appeared in front of her. "What is it General?" she asked.

"We have reason to believe that Will is still alive," he said. His usual crisp military voice, softened by the thought that his old apprentice might still be alive.

All Alya could do was stare at him.
