JON ARBUCKLE HAD A DREAM
BY
DARIUS KAMRON WHITEHEAD
{It's just another Monday, Garfield is just drinking his usual coffee cup.}
Garfield: I hate Mondays, but I love coffee.
Jon: Hey, Garfield. I had a dream.
Garfield: What dream did you have, Jon?
Jon: Well, I had a dream that I was walking in the park minding my own business,
But then I saw a piece of gum on the sidewalk. Somebody thought it was litter so I walked away from it.
And then I saw another piece of gum on the sidewalk. I had gotten angry so I yelled "WHO KEEPS LITTERING ALL THESE PIECES OF GUM ON THE SIDEWALK?!"
And then I saw a person chewing gum and blowing it. Some person had blew bubblegum and it popped right in my face. Now my face is all covered with gum. Excuse me while I go wash my face with some water.
Garfield: We all have dreams like that, do we?
{the audience starts laughing}
END.
