Hey, guys! The Fluff Machine here with another FABULOUS Fanfiction! XD No one here has a swelled head! This one's based off a few lines in the Season 5 episode "Recoil". And, if y'all know me, I enjoy digging around in the character's mind. So, today's victim- I mean, subject- is Mr. Timothy McGee.

I'd like to thank all of my readers for… well, reading. Your reviews, your favorites, they all mean so much to me! I love to write, and I love to know that you love to read. This one is my third NCIS Fanfiction- a McAbby oneshot, of course. Am I still talking? Geez!

Enjoy!

Changing an Unchangeable Mind

"Always suspect the spouse!" Gibbs declared. I had to hold back a laugh- who else but the boss?

"Speaking from experience, Jethro?" Ducky asked. It was all I could do to keep from smiling widely. I love my job. I love my annoying but lovable co-workers, I love-

"That's why I'm never getting married!" Abby said as she glided (a little wobbly) past on her roller skates. I smiled.

I love Abby. Everything about her, I adore. I mean, who wouldn't love her, with her cute little pigtails and silly antics and-

Sorry. She kind of gets me off track sometimes. Even when nobody's in a good mood around here, you can feel the connection between us. Because after all, we're the only family we've got.

And I wouldn't have it any other way. I glanced at Gibbs, who was still smiling from Abby's simple, amusing statement.

Well, amusing for Gibbs, I guess. Me, I don't really know what to make of it. All I really know is that I can't stop thinking about how I want to go get her a Caf-Pow. I usually try to keep my face emotionless when it comes to these kinds of thoughts, but heck, who doesn't make mistakes, right?

That's why I'm never getting married!

I just hope someday I can change her mind.

Love you Abs.

Okay, that wasn't too bad, right? I actually really like the way this one turned out. I think McGee and Abby's relationship is really sweet. So, when I heard this line today, I just couldn't resist! My fingers possessed the rest of my body, took over the keyboard, and this is what happened. Yeah, I'm pretty much one big fluff machine.

Hope you enjoyed!

Thanks for staying at the Fluff Factory and I'll see ya next time!

Much love,

The Fluff Machine
