A/N: I noticed that I hadn't done a double-drabble in a while, so here ya go: 200 words of shippiness (yay!), based off of BiteMeTechie's "100 starting lines" from the WPBA forum, Line #120, "He loved her from afar..."
--------------------
He loved her from afar, casting admiring glances her way whenever no one was looking, and unconsciously moving to be closer to her whenever there was danger.
She loved him from nearby, reveled in his strength that matched hers perfectly, felt protective of him, was the wisdom behind his force.
They were two ships passing in the night: one would look longingly at the other, only to turn away, afraid of being caught, and miss the other's yearning half-smile.
They were perfect together, their bodies moving in exact rhythm when they sparred, or just when they walked together on a new planet to negotiate trade for her people.
At the base, one would seek out the other, and they would sit, or walk in quiet companionship, neither voicing their feelings, afraid of the result.
He had almost resigned himself to the fact that she could never be his, would undoubtably never want him, only saw him as a team member.
She could not see why he would think of her as anything but a friend, and did not want to make things difficult for him.
And so they met again, nodded in greeting, began the dance, and never said a word.

A/N: Oh! What now! 201 words! YES! I have hit conciseness! Woohoo!
