Edit: To avoid confusion. These are excerpts from transcripts, military, civilian, police,etc. They're from just 4 hours before the invasion of Earth. Jargon will be explained to those who don't understand it, and these conversations will be expanded on. You'll see.

Gatekeeper: "Copy Ballad. Slasher-6 has been notified. We are tracking an increased number of in-take through Relay 056 and 117, through long-range scanners. Can you confirm? Over."

Ballad: "Negative, Eyes in the Sky has malfunctioned during maintenance. We're running shorter range backup. 056, 117 are out of our range."

Gatekeeper: "Copy. Gatekeeper out."


Gatekeeper: "Cobalt-3, this is Gatekeeper. Stand by for report, we have a Romeo-Echo. I say again Romeo-Echo. Over."

Cobalt-3: "Gatekeeper, this is Cobalt-3, solid copy. Send your traffic. Over."

Gatekeeper: "Sector Zulu: lost contact with Relays 406 and 182. Sector Foxtrot: lost contact with Kaver Station and Slasher-6. Sector Charlie: lost contact with Relays 117 and 056. Sector Oscar: increased transit of ships in Relay 037. How copy?"

Cobalt-3: "Copy, do you have any other remarks? Over."

Gatekeeper: "Affirmative, run silent protocol for Romeo-Echo. We want to avoid a panic. Over"

Cobalt-3: "Roger. Cobalt out."


Solar Aerospace Defense Command

SOLAD HQ: "Charon, we've just lost contact with Gatekeeper, please verify."

AMB Charon: "Negative SOLAD, Gatekeeper's green, check your EWS, over."

SOLAD HQ: "Be advised, diagnostics have already been tested. No phantoms detected. EWS is clear. Verify your equipment Charon. Over."

AMB Charon: "Roger SOLAD, we're running diagnostics now. Out."


SOLAD HQ: "Checkmate Actual, Charon is not answering our hails since 1241, please advise."

Checkmate Actual: "Can't do SOLAD, Homeland has blocked our access. Our position is under evac protocol. Take it up with them. Over."

SOLAD HQ: "Copy. Out."


"This message is brought to you be the System Alliance Department of Defense."

"To all civilian craft, be advised. A system-wide military exercise is being prepared, you are to land at the nearest public spaceport per protocol code CGC-0171/R7. Any vehicles that do not comply are to be impounded until further notice. Craft have only 2 hours to comply with the given directive."

Unidentified Caller

Altieri: "This is the Kuiper Belt, scientific Station Altieri to NAVCOM, please respond."

NAVCOM HQ: "This is a military channel only Altieri, cease and desist immediately."

Altieri: "Negative, I'm retired Lt. Col. of UNAS armed forces, current Senior Security Specialist working for Aphelion. I've got word of an invasion by unknown forces, contact with Acturus has been lost and Charon is likely about to be breached. Give this message to whomever is in charge and fast."

NAVCOM HQ: "Wait one Altieri…... Homeland Actual wants to speak with you."

Altieri: "Receiving."

Homeland Actual: "Altieri, this is Homeland Actual. I'll skip the bullshit, all of this will be of the books. The invaders are called Reapers, don't ask me what they are I've no idea myself. What I do know is that they are incredibly advanced. I've sent a frigate to extract your team and the scientist. I also want to know how you got access to classified information. Understood?"

Altieri: "Affirm Homeland, what's the ETA?"

Homeland Actual: "10 minutes good luck. Out."


Roscoe Residence

Henry: "Hey Patricia, how are the kids?"

Patricia: "They're just fine Henry, you need to stop worrying."

Henry: "Yeah, well… you know me."

Patricia: "I do. So, when are you coming home?"

Henry: "Ah, yeah. About that… There is some sort of military exercise going on? Do you know anything about that?"

Patricia: "What?! No. Nothing was announced, or at least I don't remember…"

Henry: "Hmmm, seems unusual to just start a military exercise, across the entire system, on a Sunday afternoon. Oh well, the delay is expected for at least 10 hours. I'll live."

Patricia: "You might, but what about Helen's birthday! You'll be late."

Henry: "Hehe. Fashionably late."

Patricia: "You joke, but how are you going to get here? The mono-rail workers are on strike tomorrow and I doubt you'll find a cab in rush hour."

Henry: "Christ, Patricia calm down, I'll figure something out."

Patricia: "OK, of course you will."

Henry: "It'll be fine, I've waited 16 months for this, I can wait a little longer."

Patricia: "And the kids?"

Henry: "They won't mind, I'm sure of it. Especially with what gifts I come bearing."

Patricia: "OK… mm, I just can't wait until… h-hang on. Kids! Kids?! Can you come inside? It's supposed to rain soon… No buts, dad would like to talk with you… That's what I though. Honey you still there?"

Flight 361: "Twenty-two one six for the push 361."

Caller: "Uhm… I'd like to report on some… weird stuff on my front yard. Looks like space debris."

911: "Ok, can you describe your situation?"

Caller: "Yeah, I'm on my porch, and the debris… could be from one of those old satellites or, something."

911: "Is anyone hurt?"

Caller:: "No, no. Just a bit shaken."

911: "How big is the debris?"

Caller: "Uh, about two inches?"

911: "Two inches?"

Caller: "Yes, two inches. It came down real fast, made a fairly large hole. I'm hiding under the roof, j-just in-case."

911: "Ok, could you wait a second?"

Caller: "Uh… sure, sure."

911: "An officer has been sent and the local fire department has been notified. Stay where you are, help is on the way."

Caller: "Alright… thank you."

Caller: "Not really all I see is smoke from here, no fire though."

911: "OK, I'm dispatching officers and the local fire department. Can you tell me anything else?"

NC: "No, none that I'm aware of."

BCQ Reporter: "OK, then why do we have reports of fi…. from the sky?"

NC: "Could you repeat that?"

BCQ Reporter: "I… s….om….ky…."

Elsey: "Good Afternoon Chicago, I'm Justin Elsey."

White: "And I'm Leticia White."

Elsey: "And you're watching a BCQ breaking news report."

Elsey: "Today several flaming objects entered the atmosphere of Earth, the origin of the debris has yet to be found. Several unconfirmed reports have stated that no meteor showers are scheduled for this month. Speculation has taken to the street talks are about a spaceship exploding. Some conspiracy theorists already claim this to be another attack by Cerberus, referring to the infamous Singapore terror attack."

White: "Officials have yet to comment on the situation, the Mayor of Chicago has denied knowing about the debris, and the local air traffic control hasn't responded to our calls. Stay tuned for new updates!"
