He'd met her once. Never again. She was his only hope. His reason to wake up the next morning.

As years went on, Haru never gave up. He believed he would meet her again. Just like when he was 5

~flashback~

Haru swam through the ocean. Each time his arms pushed agains the strong waves, he glided forward with ease.

That's when he saw her. Only for a brief second.

It was still long enough to let her say, "12 years from now, out paths will cross again, Haruka-sama." With that, she vanished into the water as quick as she came, leaving Haru wondering if she was ever even there at all.

~present day~

It has been 12 years. 12 agonizing years leaving Haru missing the 'girl of water', as he called the mysterious fortune telling girl from those many years ago.

Haru went to the beach. It was too cold to swim, but he needed to clear his head.

A lone figure glided through the waves, their blue hair flowing behind them.

"Haru," the girl's whisper seemed to reach his ears over the loud ocean. "I've been waiting, Haru."

"Juvia," Haru stated, as if he had known the name all along.

"Come." She reached out a delicate hand in his direction.

Haru dove into the water. Surprisingly, the icey water didn't feel that cold. Her head went under the water and the water infront of Haru soon formed into the head of the girl he loved. HIS girl made of water.

"Watashi no mizu no oji. My water prince." Juvia's lips brushed his before she melted into water.
