Agh! I know, I know! It's been waaaay too long since I've made anything. Well, for all of you who still read my stuff, here's a little Halloween gift from yours truly. It took me a while, with the rhymes and all. Please R&R, and Happy Halloween!

Betwixt two buldings were Brendan and May.
It's a long story, how they got here today.
May wanted to visit that old haunted house,
where that old witch lived, with her filthy pet mouse.
Brendan insisted that they knock another door,
but May did not listen, she still wanted more.

"We've got plenty of candy, and this place is dangerous."

"I'll prove I'm not scared of the hag, no matter how hideous!"

After several knocks, the door opened with a creak.
From the gap, a green woman looked at them with a peek.

"Get away from my property," the witch cursed,
"or I'll eat you both, starting with the little girl first!"

"Just give us some candy, and we'll be on our way!"
May looked her in the eyes, her courage still not gone a-stray.

"I'll give you something, alright," the old woman said,
"I'll zap you both until you're dead!"

When the witch pulled out her wand,
May and Brendan dashed away towards the pond!
When they arrived, the witch was already there.
The two headed into the city, May running like a fleeing bear.
Brendan pulled the girl into an alley, so as to be hidden.
However, they were squished, like an elephant and a kitten!

Thus, that's how they wound up here, all embarassed and frightened.
Though, they were with one another, so they were a little enlightened.

May felt guilty for getting him into this mess.
"Brendan, I'm sorry for giving you all this distress."

"May, it's alright, there's no need to fret,
with you by my side, there's nothing I regret.
I'll stay with you, no matter what;
around you, I'm not sad. I'm anything but."

The girl hugs him, to his surprise,
and he does the same, without any replies.

"Brendan, you're so poetic, it makes me sick,
but yet, I don't care, 'cause you'll stay with me; you stick.
I don't want to say this, but it's a bit overdue..
I.. I think I like you."

The boy looks at her face, which has turned a pure scarlet.
He simply kisses her; he could've sworn he tasted chocolate.

Then, that wretched witch intrudes, and finishes her evil task;
she smiles sweetly when they spread apart, and she takes off her mask(!?).
There's the teen smiling, appearing to be Leaf.
Both Brendan and May stared at her, in their disbelief.

"Mission accomplished," Leaf said with a smirk,
"you two admitted, I've finished my work.
Hah, Red owes me five bucks,
I got you two frightened, you were sitting ducks!"

"LEAF!" May and Brendan both shouted, embarassed from the silly feat.
Well, they both got a Trick, as well as a Treat.

"Anyway.. Brendan, do you still want to get some sweets?"

"Why, no thank you, m'lady; I've already had an amazing treat."
