Red X was running as fast as he could through Jump City, not daring to slow down, look back – or lose what he was clutching close to his chest. The masked criminal had stolen something very important that belonged to some forces of the law. He'd gone through a bit of a scuffle before he could make his getaway, wanting to have what he'd taken all to himself.
He raced along rooftops, hoping from one to the next with the moon lighting his way. He made sure to keep his eyes and ears sharp for anyone who might be after him. He knew very well he was being hunting down for committing such a horrendous crime. He had to make sure to lose the trailing forces before he could finally destroy what he had stolen.
It was a long time before Red X finally came to a stop. He had arrived at a dirty old alleyway which was littered with rotting garbage. Thinking those after him would lose his scent if they came searching for him here, he was certain that he wouldn't be disturbed to carry out his horrible deed that moment.
Red X held up the goods he'd stolen to observe it in the moonlight. His eyes narrowed deviously behind his mask. He was already to destroy the precious item there on the spot.
"Finally," he sneered, "we're alone at last! Just you and me..."
"Guess again, Red X!"
Red X dropped the item in shock at the sudden voice which had spoken to him behind his back. He swung around to face the one that had crept up on him - hardly surprised to discover who it was.
It was none other than Robin – who'd never looked so furious as he gritted his teeth at his rival.
With a loud holler, the Boy Wonder threw a punch. It was quickly blocked by Red X as he grabbed hold of his fist in his hand.
"Easy there, kid," he said calmly. "There's no need for us to fight. All I want is a bit of your-"
Red X's sentence was never finished as Robin kicked him in the stomach. He fell back hard against a brick wall, sinking down to the ground – before his eyes widened in alarm.
Robin had taken out his staff and was holding it up over his shoulder. With all his strength and hatred for Red X, the Boy Wonder swung it around to strike him. Red X's mask was not able to protect him as a blast of pain erupted through his head. Robin don't stop there. He kept swinging his weapon again and again, delivering blow after blow to brutally batter Red X.
About ten minutes passed before Robin finally stopped delivering his attacks. Red X was now laying almost unconscious against the wall. He was bruised, defeated and in a lot of pain. A few low groans escaped him.
With a satisfied smirk crossing his face, Robin picked up the item his rival had stolen from where he had dropped it on the ground.
"That'll teach you, Red X," he said. "No one steals my pizza and gets away with it."
Robin made his way out of the alleyway, leaving Red X all alone where he had attacked him. He was very pleased to have rescued his pizza which X had stolen and was planning to eat himself. He could hardly wait to return to Titans Tower to devour it – forgetting that he was supposed to share it with Cyborg, Beast Boy, Starfire, Raven and even Silkie!
The end.
