Author's note: Well, I read a really (really, really, really) disturbing truten fic and couldn't fall asleep until I wrote something. This is one of those 4 o' clock in the morning songfics, but I went through it before I typed it up so it's (sort of) edited and fixed up. Oh, and a quick note. Every time you see 'he' in the lyrics, it was originally 'she,' but I changed it for the sake of the plot. Now, the disclaimer, the fic, then a review (or else)!

DISCLAIMER: I do not own Dragonball Z sob and I do not own SR-71 (if I did I would of made that guy shave off his sideburns shudder)

Please... Forgive Me.

/I confess it's all true/

/I'm a mess, what a fool/

/Now what do I do/

He dialed the number again and listened to an indefinite amount of rings until he hung up with a sigh, rolling over so he didn't have to face the accursed phone anymore. Lavender hair that had fallen out of his ponytail lay over his eyes, obscuring his vision, but he didn't care.

/I need your help to get up from my knees/

/I can't seem to see the forest for the trees/

/As I wait in my silent misery/

/All I'm asking is please... forgive me./

"Why do I always have to be such an ass?" he whispered to himself.

/Now he knows me/

/Now he wants me/

/But he wants me to be/

/Someone I can't be/

He knew he was an ass because that's what his koi, his friend of 16 years, had called him. Right before the door slammed shut. And it's what lingered in the air when the door didn't open again.

"I promise to be better," he whispered.

/Still he wants me/

"Because I want him."

/He needs me/

"Because I need him."

/He wants me/

"Because I want him."

/He loves me!/

"Because I love him!"

/I need your help to get up from my knees/

/I can't seem to see the forest for the trees/

/As I wait in my silent misery/

/All I'm asking is please... forgive me./

His heart ached.

/SHATTERED/

He rolled over to face the phone again. Should he even bother? Well, just because he won't answer his phone, doesn't mean he won't answer his door.

/Now you see inside/

/Because I no longer hide/

/Or fall between the cracks you left behind/

He threw open his window and jumped out, focusing all his senses and strength on getting to his koi's house as soon as possible. None of the scenery caught his attention until the small white house that was his destination came into view. He landed in front of the door with a soft tap.

/Shattered, now you're out of time/

/You come this far to be denied/

Please, dear Kami, don't let him turn away from me now.

/What a shame, I'm to blame/

He took a calming breath and then rang the doorbell.

/What a shame, I'm to blame/

Silence.

He rang again.

/I need your help to get up from my knees/

/I can't seem to see the forest for the trees/

/As I wait in my silent misery/

/All I'm asking is please... forgive me./

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" came a familiar voice from inside the house. The door swung open and there stood a disarrayed teenage demi-Sayin who, upon focusing his eyes on his visitor, gave a weak, "Kirena-jin."

"Chibi..."

/I need your help to get up from my knees/

/I can't seem to see the forest for the trees/

/As I wait in my silent misery/

/All I'm asking is-/

"...please... forgive me."
