I don't remember Link this way
He's always been so cheerful...
A quiet boy, who knew to stay out of the way.
Who knew how not to get an earful.
The adults adored him,
He was an example of perfection.
But all the children abhorred him,
He always avoided interaction.
He was too quiet,
He never spoke.
Oh, he was so quiet,
A silent little bloke.
But now he's so dark...
So dangerous.
He used to be scared of the dark,
But now he's only afraid to trust.
A cheerful boy,
A scarred young man.
A fearful boy,
A dauntless man.
He was forced out of his childhood
And it was all too soon.
If he had completed childhood,
Would he not have darkened too?
My dearest friend won't speak to me.
What is on his mind?
My oldest friend is avoiding me.
Why is he no longer kind?
My problem is Link.
I've no solution.
I could speak to Link...
Wouldn't that be a revolution.
A/N: Yes. I do intend to flood the Legend of Zelda fandom with my horrid poems. Where else will I put them? Btw, what is a dark word that rhymes with 'job'? I'm having trouble.
