Disclaimer- I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians Rick Riordan does
my heart is made of glass
so fragile and true
people think I'm strong
fearless, dangerous, and full of attitude
but what they'll never see is the delicate part of me
or the silent tears
that only he brings near
Luke broke my heart
and tore it in two
made promises only between us two
he switched sides
after I "died"
promises were broken
love was lost
and trust was thrown away
and pain is only here to stay
my sisters think it's over and I'm fine
but they don't see the mask I hide behind
the pain in my eyes is easy to see
why didn't he have the decency
to end the battle before it began
the truth hurts and never fades
why can't this all go away
where my heart was is an empty space
that no one can ever replace
I yearn for the love he once gave
why did we have to throw it away
I'm tired, puffy eyed, and sore
I wish not to dream or think of him forever more
I just wish to forget him
but I could never be granted this
i lie awake every night
hoping that he is alright
I can't put myself threw this anymore
Why can't we just close the door
I cry myself to sleep tonight
and tomorrow I have a battle to fight
so the war begins
and the love and friendship ends
now enemy's fighting for each army's rights
so our love ends tonight
this means an ending or a new begin
just depends on which side wins
I have to fight him and one of us will have to die
so here's the end to my new begin
goodnight
for tomorrow I have to fight
may the gods be on our side
Thalia cried herself to sleep that night. In the morning she and the rest of the hunters packed up their camp and found their weapons. Their destination : New York. The war has begun. Thalia"s grip on her bow tightened and her expression was blank. Her electric blue eyes showed worry, remorse, love, and hatred but no one noticed this. As they began to march into the city she saw him and released a breath she didn't even realize she was holding. Last time I may ever see him. She thought to her self.
"Charge!" she shrieked as the rest of the hunters raced into the raging battle.
