A/N: Here's a crazy little one-shot that was thought up after watching Videl and Chi-Chi meeting one another in Season 7. This is what happens when ideas hit you at two in the morning. I hope you enjoy it and feel free not to flame it. K, thanks.

Disclaimer: I don't own DBZ or any of the characters, Akira Toriyama does.

"I'll have you know our family's counting on the prize money from that tournament to live on!" Chi-Chi snapped at Videl. "And Gohan has a chance to win it, but not if he's distracted by flirty little hussies like you!"

"I'm not a hussy!" The daughter of Hercule shot back. "I just want to learn how to fly! We're training together that's all! Trust me, I don't want to marry your son!"

"Oh, I see, you're 'too good' for my Gohan, that's it isn't it?" Chi-Chi huffed. "You little busybodies are all the same. First you lead them on, then you just up and leave them once you've bled them dry!"

"Where are you getting all this?!" Videl screeched. "It's training! That's as far as it's going!"

"A likely story," Chi-Chi sneered. "But I'll be the one having to nurture his poor broken heart when you cast him aside for one of your rich pretty-boys who doesn't hold a candle to my Gohan! AND I WON'T STAND FOR IT, DO YOU HEAR ME?!"

"I'M SURPRISED I CAN HEAR ANYTHING WITH YOU HOWLING AT ME LIKE THIS!" Videl hollered.

"DON'T YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT!" Chi-Chi warned. "OR I WON'T LET YOU MARRY GOHAN!"

"Mom!" Gohan whined.

"YOU STAY OUT OF THIS!" both women snarled before returning to their tirade.

"As I was saying," Videl glared at the daughter of the Ox-King. "I don't WANT to marry Gohan! Why can't you seem to get that through your thick head?!"

"DO YOU REALIZE HOW LUCKY YOU'D BE TO HAVE A HUSBAND LIKE MY SON!" Chi-Chi screamed.

"Some luck!" Videl tossed one of her ebony pigtails. "He'd come with a mother-in-law from Hell like you!"

"And that did it," Gohan sighed, a look of dismay on his face.

Before long, the two women were coming dangerously close to a fist-fight.

"Okay, I better go break this up," the teenage demi-Saiyan said, walking toward his angry female classmate and furious mother. But he made the mistake of stepping between them just as Videl drew back her arm for a punch.

"Hey!" Gohan called out in surprise as the girl's gloved fist collided with his shoulder.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! YOU STRUCK MY SON RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!" the wife of Goku gasped in horror before her face filled with rage. "HOW DARE YOU!"

"I was aiming for you, you old hag!" Videl retorted.

"Oh, so the great Hercule's daughter can't hit a moving target?" Chi-Chi mocked, aiming a kick that ended up striking Gohan's chest.

"And you were just preaching at me for striking your son," Videl smirked. "Well, what did you just do?"

"That was your fault!" roared her angry opponent. "Because you weren't woman enough to stand still and take what was coming to you!"

"Now I see why you go to school so far away," Videl said to Gohan. "This woman is CRAZY! If I had to live with her, I'd need to get away from time to time too!"

"YOU DISRESPECTFUL LITTLE TRAMP!" the Ox-Princess was absolutely livid now.

"Mom, that's enough! Gohan yelled.

The seventeen-year-old son of Goku managed to duck a punch from Chi-Chi, only to catch a flying kick from Videl...

...

A confused Goten sat on the grass, watching the melee before him. He didn't even notice Trunks touch down until the older half-Saiyan spoke.

"Hey, Goten, what's going on here?" the lavendar-haired eight-year-old asked.

"Well, first Mom got mad at that girl," Goten explained. "Then she got mad at Mom. And I think they're both mad at Gohan now."

"I'll never understand adults," Trunks said, shaking his head as he sat beside Goten, watching Gohan attempt in vain to quell the fighting females.

"Me neither," Goten uttered.

So, how was it? Let me know.
