Chapter 1
Ginny glanced up. There he was. Standing against Ron's bedroom door waiting impatiently for Rom to find his Quaffle. His long fringe fell across his eyes as he rearranged his shoulders against the door.
She had to do it. She just had to. She had to find some excuse to go into Ron's room.and there it was. Sticking out from under Ron's bed. Her 'Standard Book of Spells by Miranda Goshawk'.
Ginny walked towards the door confidently. "Ron?" she asked innocently, her eyes lingering perhaps a moment too long on Harry. "What?" snapped Ron irritably. "Oh.um.I just wanted to get my book." she replied, strutting over to the bed, pulling out her book and clasping it to her chest a little tighter than necessary, accentuating her womanly curves. "Bye Harry" she crooned, flicking her hair as she left. "What was that about?" queried Ron. "Oh.um.I don't know." replied Harry absent mindedly as he watched Ginny strut off.
***
"Oh Golly! Now I've blown it! I was way too obvious!" Ginny thought angrily to herself, throwing aside her book carelessly. She flopped on to her bed on the brink of tears.
***
Outside Ron and Harry were walking up to the "Quidditch Hill". "Uh.Ron" said Harry. "Yes?" asked Ron. "Um.I'll be back in a minute. Carry this and I'll meet you there!" Harry gushed shoving his Firebolt into Ron's hands, turning on his heel and sprinting back to the house.
***
Harry burst into Ginny's room short of breath. "Ginny!" "Yes?" Ginny said, sitting up shocked. "Ginny.I.um.I just wanted to.to say.Oh heck!" Harry grabbed a quill and Ginny's diary, scrawled something and rushed out again.
Slowly Ginny stood, she walked over and picked up her diary.
"Ginny, I love you. But please don't tell anyone I'm not ready yet." She couldn't hold back. She jumped up and down and danced around in circle giggling hysterically. Then she ran to her window and looked out there was Harry looking up at her window before turning and slipping behind the hedge around the hill.
Ginny smiled.
