Disclaimer: So you know the drill, men in black suits told me they would beat me unless I told you that I don't own Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei. So I don't.

Locker

A sob chocked, dying the young girl's throat while her slender fingers played with the frayed ends of the blanket which was like a second skin to her. Darkness, which she usually welcomed with open arms seemed almost alien to her today. Its ghost-like fingers that normally surrounded her in a warm comforting blanket now seemed suffocating as if they'd had a vice like grip around her throat.

At the mere thought she let out a cough her hand unconsciously going to her throat. Strangely she was craving light today, but not the harsh beams of the sun, no, she wanted his light. Her lips twitched slightly; internally she was chuckling at her own desires.

The light was subtle, not many onlookers would be able to view it, distracted by the despair and darkness that clung to him much like her blanket. But, she was able to see it none-the-less. That very reason is why she'd braved the outside world to relocate herself to this facility.

"You're beautiful," He paused, his eyes tracing her shocked face. "With fair skin. What's your name?" He'd asked.

A light pink hue stained Kiri's cheeks as she replayed the memory in my mind's eye.

"Komori-san, if you ever want to die let me know first." He stated and feeling a little taken aback Kiri hid herself back behind the veil of her hair before agreeing.

A tight frown pulled at her lips, she'd never thought of death before. Still to her the grim reaper presence seemed almost romantic in a sense, enthralling, but it was a simple excuse to get what she desired above all in this world. Surely he wouldn't dream of traveling with her to the other side without taking a series of stolen kisses from her lips, without tasting the fair skin he loves so much.

Death would be a welcome excuse if she could acquire that fortune.

"Komori-san didn't come today," A voice she instantly recognized came from the outside before she heard the clanking of the door being opened. Light assaulted her eyes as she allowed her hair to fall back, a light hue once again staining her cheekbones.

Nozomu blinked, completely surprised to find Kiri huddled up in his personal locker.

"Sensei," She breathed out the word, her voice the sound of wind chimes.

At last her light source had finally found her, she smiled, unreservedly content.

The End.
