Chapter 1
NICO's POV
Today is hot like hell, believe me, I know how hell feels like.
And if it could be any worse, that pinecone face daughter of Zeus mess up with me. Again. I dont even know why. Ever since I decided staying on Camp Half-Blood, I'm a good quiet boy, minding my own business, didn't attract unnecessary attention, didn't even bother making any interactions with others but she just seems won't let me live in peace.
Back to today's weather, it's strange. It's not summer nor winter. It's one of those rainy days currently. It's raining heavily a few hours ago but it's extremely hot at the moment. I'm walking through Central Park, thinking about how I should do my revenge to Thals while rolling on my skull ring.
That's when I see her, with a group of girl that I assume as the hunter of artemis. What is she doing here! I try my best to hide myself, but... oh gods, she sees me.
And her meeting greet is "Hey death boy, miss my thunder already?" Oh gods, her face is annoying that it would be my pleasure to summon a group of corpse to hit that annoying face.
I choose to ignore her, because believe me, it won't turn out good if i respond her. So, I turn back and walk straight, pretending I don't see her. She walks fast towards me and shouted, "Afraid, dea.." She don't continue what she supposed to say because all of sudden, byarr, a heavy rain come down.
I look at the sky cluelessly. What's going on Zeus? Probably one of his heavy mood swing. But he really need to stop playing around. Mortal will be confuse. A lightning strike, when Thalia hits me in the shoulder. And the lightning looks like it blend with thalia's power or something, and.. I faint.
