I can not believe this… he is gone. I remember having left that place so many years ago. But I guess I shall be off to concord. I have nothing left here with Ratonhnhaketon gone. So without a friend left, my parents have decided to take me to Concord. They think being in a more populous area will be good for me socially. I can only hope that they are right. This little town of Pike has done so very little for me.

Well, I can thankfully say that there is at least one proper girl here my age. Well, I do not know that proper is the right term to 's a bit of an anxious pluck. But Grace will do for a first friend here. It's only been a few months, but I really do miss Ratohnhaketon. It's llike, that little ball of light I knew, I fear I will never see him again. And if I were to see him again, what would I say? It would probably be years and years, decades even, from now.

My birthday has just passed.
